The 8-day Mount Kilimanjaro climb via the Lemosho Route is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and successful ways to reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. What To Expect
Day 1: Moshi – Londorossi Gate – Mti Mkubwa Camp (7 km | ~3 hrs) After breakfast in Moshi, drive to Londorossi Gate for registration, then trek through rainforest to Mti Mkubwa Camp. Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp – Shira I Camp (10 km | 6–7 hrs) Ascend through moorland with scenic views as you trek to Shira I Camp on the Shira Plateau. Day 3: Shira I Camp – Shira Hut (8 km | 3–4 hrs) A scenic hike across the Shira Plateau with gradual ascent to Shira Hut. Day 4: Shira Hut – Lava Tower – Barranco Camp (10 km | 6–7 hrs) Trek to Lava Tower for acclimatization, then descend to beautiful Barranco Camp. Day 5: Barranco Camp – Karanga Camp (6 km | 3–4 hrs) Climb the Barranco Wall and continue across alpine desert terrain to Karanga Camp. Day 6: Karanga Camp – Barafu Camp (4 km | 2–4 hrs) Short hike to Barafu Camp, your base camp for the summit. Day 7: Barafu Camp – Uhuru Peak – Mweka Camp (19 km | 12–14 hrs) Midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), then descend to Mweka Camp. Day 8: Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate – Moshi (10 km | 4–5 hrs) Descend through rainforest to Mweka Gate and transfer back to your hotel in Moshi.

5.00I took 7-day Lemosho route with Incredible Africa and had a fabulous unforgettable 7-Star experience. Here's why I am highly confident on recommending Incredible Africa for Kilimanjaro expedition and more: 1. *Meticulous planning and preparation* : this was clearly visible through resource planning and pre-hike briefings. 2. *Clear communication* : this was very imp as being my first high-altitude hike, I was nervous, anxious and had lots of questions. Both our guides, Rafael and Temba, utilized their wealth of knowledge and experience about the mountain and always briefed us regularly, clearly and patiently answered all our questions. 3. *Emphasize on safery first, always* : regular health checks after every dinner and breakfast through a well thought-out recorded scoring system ensured we were in good health and fit to scale heights. 4. *Food, sleep and hydration* : we had an amazing nutritious and delicious food, thanks to our Cook, Elia. George always ensured that food was served to us without any delays and refilled our water supplies. He also woke us up each morning with hot water for wash. 5. *Incredible team co-ordination* - "one-team, one dream": entire team right from the guides, cook and porters who took heavy camping loads, came together as one unit to make our experience a memorable one. 6. Summit night - we did it, Poli-Poli (slowly slowly): 1,300 night climb to Uhuru peak was the toughest of all climbs at Kili and required navigating darkness, strong wind, bone-chilling cold and snow. Guides sang motivating songs to keep us in high spirits, and advised us on how to tackle altitude sickness. Thanks to the Summit Porters/Heroes - Emanuel and Filipo, who did their parts in carrying our backpacks and other reqd equipments, so we can focus on our climb. **Conclusion* : Excellent team to high-quality camping equipment and sumptous meals (customized to our tastes), Incredible Africa team delivered a 7-star memorable experience. 5.00We had the most incredible adventure of our lives with Incredible Africa Adventures on our 8-day Kilimanjaro trip through the Lemosho route. From start to finish, everything was flawlessly organised, leaving us with nothing to worry about except enjoying the journey. Right from the beginning, the communication via WhatsApp was exceptional. Octavian, our main point of contact, went above and beyond to provide us with all the necessary information and guidance, ensuring we were well-prepared for the expedition. His support and valuable advice were key in making our trip a resounding success. Upon our arrival at the airport, we were warmly greeted by the Incredible Africa Adventures team and transported to our hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a serene atmosphere that allowed us to relax and unwind before embarking on the challenging climb. The restaurant on-site served good food and hotel provided additional services such as massage and laundry, which were great after conquering the mountain. Throughout the entire journey, we were accompanied by a team who left no stone unturned in ensuring our safety, comfort, and enjoyment. Our two guides were not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly supportive, motivating us every step of the way. Their attentiveness and genuine care for our well-being were truly amazing, and their personalities made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The crew consisted of nine porters and one cook, all of whom played an important role in making our trip unforgettable. The cook's culinary skills were extraordinary, and we were treated to the most delicious meals every single day. The porters, true unsung heroes, were the backbone of our trip. They were always there to lend a helping hand and provide a warm smile whenever we needed it the most. Their dedication and hard work were truly inspiring, and we felt incredibly grateful to have such a supportive and friendly crew by our side. They were ready for us when we came down from the summit with a song, and congratulations which made the moment so special. Every aspect of our Kilimanjaro climb trip exceeded our expectations. 5.00I and my friend are beyond satisfied with our lemosho trek together with Incredible Africa Adventures. We travelled alone and were put in a group of three and became a group of five people. We had such a blast and became close friends. We had the most amazing team of guides and porters and we felt safe and in the best hands at all times and the food was very delicious throughout the whole trip. I feel so lucky that I got to know all these amazing people. I Can only recommend going to Kilimanjaro with Incredible Africa Adventures, even if you’re going by yourself. I would book with them again, for sure! Thank you for a wonderful time!☺️
