Why choose the OK team? Climbing Kilimanjaro isn't just about being comfortable; it's about safety! You need guides on the mountain who can react quickly to emergencies, and you need strong ground support at the base. Every single staff member at OK team treated us with sincerity and kindness, just like family on the mountain. I feel so lucky to have chosen the OK team for giving me such wonderful memories of Kilimanjaro. I will be very happy to recommend them to my friends.

My girlfriend and I are just home from climbing Kilimanjaro with Operation Kilimanjaro. It was up there with one of the best weeks of my life. Johnson and his team are absolutely fantastic. We spent a week on the mountain with our crew who became like a family. Our guides James and Abdully and all the rest of the crew were absolutely amazing. This is the company you need to go with they will look after you the best, incredible people!

I chose Operation Kilimanjaro, as I wanted to support a locally based company, and the communication with Johnson was really good. The prices they have are also really competitive. Johnson has from the beginning and through everything had perfect communication with me. I had to postpone my trip on very short notice (less than a week), as I injured myself, and Johson fixed everything smoothly. My flight was also delayed, and he postponed with a day, the day before my hike was supposed to start. My team was superb, with not only safety, but also friendship and family as a focus. They cared for me as if I was their brother, making sure that all of my needs were taken care of. They went above and beyond with carrying my equipment, making sure I got to take the photos that I wanted, and catered for my every need. I really can't recommend this company enough, and the wonderful experience I had, and the family that I got, will stay with me till the end of my days. Thank you, Operation Kilimanjaru, Jonhson, Piuc, Morses, Humphrey and Alin. You will forever be in my heart.

Best tour group and team! Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro on New Year’s Day was an unforgettable way to begin the year, and we are deeply grateful for the incredible team who made this journey possible. From the very first day, the guides, porters, and crew showed exceptional professionalism, kindness, and dedication. Every detail was handled with care—from pacing and safety to encouragement during the most challenging moments. Their calm leadership and constant reassurance gave us confidence, even when the climb tested our limits. Summiting Kilimanjaro on New Year’s Day was profoundly emotional. Standing on the roof of Africa as the new year began felt symbolic—a moment of gratitude, reflection, and renewed purpose. This achievement would not have been possible without the tireless support of the entire team, who pushed us forward step by step, often believing in us more than we believed in ourselves. Thank you for your patience, your smiles in the cold, your words of motivation, and the genuine care you showed every single day. This was more than a hike—it was a life-changing experience and a memory we will carry forever. We recommend this team to anyone dreaming of climbing Kilimanjaro. You will be in the best hands, supported not just physically, but emotionally and mentally, all the way to the summit.

We climbed Mount Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route in early October with Operation Kilimanjaro. We successfully reached the summit and were very satisfied with the experience. The Operation Kilimanjaro team was extremely efficient, very helpful, and attentive to our needs. Johnson was always available and efficient, even with “off-schedule” requests. We highly recommend them for the climb, and once again, we want to congratulate the entire team. Thank you so much! Roberto and Michele

A friend and I entrusted Johnson with our trek: he took care of all our needs, both in organising the trip while we were at home, answering our 1000 questions, and afterwards when we got off the plane, during the trek and even until our departure for Italy. It was the first time I had done a major trek. During the trek, our guides/chefs/porters were always attentive, offering advice and support whenever we needed it, and honestly exceeded our expectations. Everyone involved in the Operation Kilimangiaro organisation was always positive: in an experience like this, that is essential. If you need to rely on someone, Johnson and his staff are the right people.

Operation Kilimanjaro, a team of professional and reliable Kilimanjaro guides, is experienced and attentive to service, ensuring our safe ascent to the top and exceptional experience; Serengeti safaris are precisely scheduled, and the prairie is ridden to witness a wide variety of animals and rock the majesty. Two great experiences combine to make the adventure of a lifetime in Africa!
