Lovely experience choosing kimono and being dressed by the ladies. Interesting learning about the tea ceremony and tasting the sweets and drinking the matcha. Not a lot of room on the ground to sit if you struggle with bad knees or are tall but a chair was offered

Interesting ceremony would have liked a little more hands-on practice, though. Matcha tea was great. Kimono choices were good. Thank you.

We had a great time! Getting dressed up in the kimonos and taking photos was so much fun for our entire group. The tea ceremony was very informative and the host, Wakanda, was fantastic! We especially loved getting to take all the photos at the end. Highly recommended!!

Our party included 7 and 9 yr old girls their parents and grandparents. It was a fun and memorable experience for all! The 9 year old said it was the best thing she did in Japan and said she learned so much about the tea ceremony. Chako and her assistant engaged the children well and was fun and inclusive of all of the guests. The staff offered to pose us in many stances. As an oil painting artist I will go home and be able to paint many memories from this fun adventure! Arigato!

We had SUCH a beautiful experience at this tea ceremony! Our guide Chako was kind, knowledgeable, and provided us with a meaningful experience and explained the history along the way. The kimonos were awesome, the tea was great, the rooftop garden was beautiful, and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend this experience in Asakusa!! Thank you, Chako!!

My wife and I had our first tea ceremony experience here, and it was wonderful. The staff was excellent, the venue beautifully organized, and the atmosphere very pleasant. Our host performed the ceremony with great care and grace. We were especially grateful that they allowed us to wear the kimono all day. Walking to the nearby temple in traditional attire was a highlight of the visit and made the whole experience feel truly special. We took plenty of beautiful photos at various scenic spots throughout the grounds. Highly recommended!

We decided to do this activity last minute after a sub par tea ceremony attached to a geisha show. I wanted to do it in casual clothes but only kimono was available. So happy we did the kimono. Enjoyed picking out my own kimono, sash and hair ornaments. The ladies did a great job assisting you to get ready. The actual tea ceremony was fantastic. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and did a very precise purification of the tools. We each then “tried “ to whisk our tea. I needed assistance and it was freely given. Others had quick wrists! The entire process from dress to completion of the ceremony was about 1.5 hours. Highly recommend this experience!
