Stepping into this Japanese tea ceremony felt like entering another world. The host was warm, knowledgeable, and brought every ritual to life with genuine passion. Learning the meaning behind each precise movement made the experience truly special. The traditional kimonos set the perfect scene. An unforgettable experience — highly recommend!

This experience was truly a highlight of my entire trip to Japan — I honestly can’t put into words how special it was. From the moment we stepped into the tea house, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. It immediately felt personal and inviting. Then came the part I was most excited about — dressing in a kimono! I had always assumed you simply slip one on and you’re ready to go, but I quickly learned it’s a beautiful and intricate process involving careful layering of fabrics and perfectly tied belts. The wonderful ladies who helped me were absolutely amazing. They were so warm and affectionate, even hugging me several times, which made the experience feel even more heartfelt. They paid attention to every detail, adjusting each layer with care and adding the perfect finishing touches. They even styled my hair beautifully to complete the look. Meanwhile, my husband was being dressed in the next room, receiving the same thoughtful attention. Once we were ready, they graciously took as many photos as we wanted, capturing memories we will treasure forever. The tea ceremony itself was incredibly meaningful and serene. Learning about the traditions behind it and making our own matcha made the experience even more memorable. It felt intimate, authentic, and deeply special. If I could give this experience more than five stars, I absolutely would. It was unforgettable in every way.

A very nice experience of discovery. The ladies dressed us with great care and gave us an excellent welcome. The tea ceremony was authentic and very interesting, with clear explanations of each gesture and their meaning. The guide was also passionate and attentive. A rewarding activity that I recommend to better understand Japanese culture.

  • Disappointed

    Peter S,Feb 2, 2026

Extremely disappointed with how this was handled. I cancelled my tea ceremony within the 24 hour window due to food poisoning. Despite this, they refused to issue a refund. What made it worse was the endless back-and-forth communication afterward. I provided explanations, followed up multiple times, and tried to resolve this reasonably—yet I kept getting delayed responses and excuses, with no resolution and no refund. Illnesses happen especially when you are traveling overseas. I would not recommend booking here
