Loved the tour. Great informative guides. Wished they would have mentioned in requirements that you can buy the 3 L of water needed for rim walk at gas station near breakfast buffet place instead of packing a 3 L bottle all the way from the United States...they sell water in 1.5 L bottles. Wasn't aware of this as it would have saved room in my carry on bag. Definitely be prepared for the 500 plus steps to the top.

A great hike with knowledgeable guides along the way. Our guide, Glen, knew the history, the story around the place, the geology behind it a well - it was a real pleasure to be accompanied by such a knowledgeable guide. As for the tour in general, you need to be ready at 4am, and by 9am you start the hike. The hike itself is level 4, a bit challenging but any fit person would be able to do that. The main problem is the heat - in our case it was about 40 C, and there is not much shade along the way, so be prepared for that. Unfortunately, in that weather, the air conditioner in the bus wasn’t working well, so I would generally recommend to make this hike not in summer as we did.

A long day but really worth it. You don't need pool towels. We had excellent guides & learnt loads about the terrain & history of the area.

A fantastic day! Our guide & driver were terrific. We heard some historical stories and were provided interesting facts on the drive. The rim walk was beautiful & an enjoyable walk. Enjoyed all the stops on the way home.
