Staff on board - Rachel (driver), and Dani ( guide) ensured we were safe and well looked after for the entire day. Being a little older and certainly less fit than the rest of the group, I was challenged by this Rim Walk - but Dani was full of encouragement to ensure I had a positive experience. The Rim Walk is not for the feint-hearted, but I wanted to see the most stunning views for myself - as I’d heard so many amazing comments about the scenery - and, despite being exhausted, accomplishing this task will remain with me forever - but only possible with Dani’s encouragement!!! Dani and Rachel - worth your weight in gold!!! PS - I found using hiking poles a huge help in providing extra leg power when scrambling up some of the inclines.

Had a lovely day at Kings Canyon. Early start but Michael and Michelle were lovely and friendly even at that hour of the day. To add some adventure the bus did break down around 25 mins drive from Kings Canyon. Looked like that was the rim walk gone, but teamwork kicked in and a couple of stops to keep filling water in the coolant, we literally rolled into our parking bay. From there Michelle guided us through the walk which is not for the faint hearted, but well worth the effort. Everyone was supported and kept on track and time. Views were amazing. There was an alternative option for those who felt it was too much and the two options were very well explained. A stop for lunch and a couple of stops on the long journey back completed the day. Employees like these two who go above and beyond when we could have just parked up and waited for a replacement should be commended.

We joined the bus from Uluru and made the trip to Kings canyon for the hike. What a great day! Our guide was knowledgable and professional and kept everyone happy and safe throughout the day. We had a wide range of people on our hike from experienced hikers to people who were completely inexperienced - everyone was well looked after. As two of the more experienced hikers on the trip, we didn’t feel slowed down at all. The guide managed the group and speed exceptional well.

Had a nice paced hike with Dani and our small group of about 8. There were adequate breaks throughout the hike to recover and take photos. The views were spectacular and both Dani and Beatrice provided a fun, informative experience. It just so happened Dani was also from my home state in the USA, which added an unexpected twist to the adventure.

We had an absolutely amazing experience on the Kings Canyon Day Trip from Ayers Rock (Uluru)! It’s a long day at around 13 hours, but it is completely worth it for everything you see and experience. Our guide, Michelle, was fantastic, so knowledgeable and informative, with a clear and engaging way of delivering information that made the whole journey even more enjoyable. We completed the Rim Walk, which was breathtaking and definitely a highlight of the trip. The scenery is unforgettable and truly unique. Breakfast was incredible and a great way to start such a big day. As an added bonus, we also stopped at Mount Connor (Atila) on the way back, which was a wonderful extra experience. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area, it’s a big day, but one you won’t regret!

The rim walk was amazing and Dani, Daira and Jim made a wonderful team driving us back and forth, taking us on the walk and sharing stories of the land. It was a 36 degree day though, I wish we’d started walking atleast an hour earlier than we did (8:30 am) because by the end of it, the temperatures were too high and there is close to no shade on the top.

Long day from Ayers Rock Resort (3.5 hrs one way - 3.5 hrs return) but super nice visit around Kings Canyon Mountain. Did the shortest walk (2.2 km) with the great heat (36-38 degrees morning) and it was very beautiful. Our driver and guide (2.2 km), Beatrice, was very friendly and interesting. It drives wonderfully well and is very careful. The other guide, Dany, walked 6.5 km and commented on the tour on the bus; good guide also. It was worth getting up in the middle of the night!

The canyon hike was beautiful and the scenery along the drive interesting ... yet it was a lot of driving (3 hours each way) for a very fast hike without much time to enjoy the views (partly due to summer heat, partly due to timing). I wish I would have stayed with another group that camped the night before and hiked earlier in the morning. The breakfast could have been "on the go on the bus" to save time for hike, and the lunch stop after the hike and the "ranch" visit on the way home could be eliminated and just get back to resort earlier to enjoy a meal there. Tour guide (Haily) was informative on bus ride but filled with stories of death on the hike (I understand the importance of safety but this was over the top). Bus driver was great. Glad I got the experience in but not the best Viator experience on this trip.
