The canyon hike was beautiful and the scenery along the drive interesting ... yet it was a lot of driving (3 hours each way) for a very fast hike without much time to enjoy the views (partly due to summer heat, partly due to timing). I wish I would have stayed with another group that camped the night before and hiked earlier in the morning. The breakfast could have been "on the go on the bus" to save time for hike, and the lunch stop after the hike and the "ranch" visit on the way home could be eliminated and just get back to resort earlier to enjoy a meal there. Tour guide (Haily) was informative on bus ride but filled with stories of death on the hike (I understand the importance of safety but this was over the top). Bus driver was great. Glad I got the experience in but not the best Viator experience on this trip.

If you book, go to the appointment from half an hour before to half an hour after, because they can do whatever the hell they want, but if you go away for a second to track them down and figure out where they are, then they come, they do not find you and leave you on the ground, without deigning to answer the phone or make a call to them, despite the fact that you are in uluru only for that tour, you woke up at 3 am and paid more than 1000€ between flights, hotel and tour. Go down the toilet. Absolutely useless Viator assistance

Great day tour from Uluru! It’s a long day but worth it. The views are spectacular. The longer rim hike is not for the faint hearted but has the best views. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed this day tour!

This is a long day out, so be prepared if you're not aware. It's also a great day out - I've wanted to visit Kings Canyon for a long time and I was not disappointed. The buffet breakfast (a summer alternative) was a great way to start the day. Being summer, it was very hot, so I did the alternative creek bed walk and really enjoyed Jim's commentary on the vegetation. The company organised a helicopter ride over KC for me and I also really rated that and enjoyed the swim back at KC resort. The two little stops on the way back are nice stretch of the legs. If you're keen for KC and don't want to hire a car, I highly recommend this trip.

Kings Canyon walk cancelled with no notice and no reason other than ‘operational reason’ . There is nothing else to do in the this area as a substitute and very remote. Would therefore avoid booking this trip. We were offered another day which as they know will be pointless as that would involve rearranging flights and extra accommodation. Very disappointing.

We did the tour to Kings Canyon and completed the rim walk. It was a great experience and well worth the effort. We were lucky to experience lots of spring flowers due to earlier rain in the area. The breakfast was very nicely presented and was delicious. The lunch stop (at own expense) was a very pleasant location with a number of food options to choose from. The air conditioned comfort was very welcome, allowing us to kick back and enjoy a beer before heading back to Yulara. The guides were really good and the coach was comfortable. Would recommend to others.

Both our driver Barry and tour guide Hailey were fantastic. Hailey was so knowledgeable, funny and looked after us so well. Her bedtime stories were so informative with Barry adding up more information along the trip. The rim walk was so amazing. Great views, once in lfetime oppourtunity. We had a great time. Highly recommended

We took the shorter walk but it was still very enjoyable. We learnt about the different flora along the way. Breakfast and lunch was good and pool was a nice and refreshing after walk as was a very hot day .

A beautiful place! I opted for the easier creek bed walk. Our guide, Steph, did a great job explaining the history of the location and pointing out the medicinal plants and their uses. She was also very kind and helpful. The walk was mostly level, but some areas were rough, natural stones, making it difficult for people like me who have knee and hip problems. Two things the tour operators should highlight up front: if you choose the rim walk you are required to carry two to three liters of water; and if you choose the creek bed walk with the option of a helicopter ride, the helicopter is a separate charge.
