What To Expect

Bermuda

We meet you on this new and popular tour at the cruise port and start our guided tour of Ketchikan. During our journey we head to Clover Pass Resort, this is known as one of the oldest operating fishing resorts in Alaska State. Here you will enjoy meeting your captain and first mate before boarding our 29 foot vessel. Be prepared for an amazing adventure on the seas as your captain makes his way through the bays and inlets, all whilst giving you a guided tour of the land, the air, and the sea. During your sail you will be able to see the abundant wildlife of southeast Alaska, such as eagles, porpoises, and seals. From May through September, whales are very often spotted throughout our tour. We head by the Back Island Naval Facility and into the heart of Grant Island State Marine Park and Silverking Lodge. Once we are at the lodge you will be amazed at the things to do here. From using the underwater dock camera, seeing the catches of anglers as they come and go from the lodge. Silverking's exclusive elevated boardwalk trail allows you to walk into the normally difficult to access rainforest. Discover its secrets like Old Man's Beard and nursery trees. At the end of the trail, guests will want to be sure to have their cameras ready for the largest known red cedar in the Tongass National Forest. We the head back to the lodge for a seafood boil including Dungeness crab, shrimp, mussels, clams, sausage, corn, garlic, pearl onions, and French bread. Last but not least, a visit to the gift shop where guests can purchase memorabilia and look for their homes to place a pin on the world map. Overview: • 30 minutes to resort • 10 minute gear up • 40 minute boat ride • 30 minute rainforest walk • 60 minute meal time • 15 minute boat ride • 10 minute gear down • 30 minute drive back to pier Please note: Guests must be comfortable walking short distances on uneven surfaces. If this catamaran is also the PINK Catamaran that was booked from our Royal Carribean cruise ship, it was called Cruise for a cure and snorkel trip. It was amazing! These 3 gentlemen were extremely knowledgeable about the types of fish, coral, & Bermuda history. They were comical and fun. They served Rum Swizzles by the pitcher full and kept them coming until docking! The warm chocolate chip cookies were delicious and new batches were made several times. I would highly recommend the Pink Catamaran snorkel tour. 🩷 Everyone on this excursion had a wonderful time.

The tour operator never showed up or responded to Viator’s calls. Since Viator doesn’t provide the name of the boat or tour operator, it's impossible to contact them directly. Save your money and book directly with the tour operator to avoid the hassle.

The music was terrible loud. And when I asked the person in charge, he said this was a party boat. Nowhere in you description did it they say this was a party boat catamaran trip. Totally misrepresented description.

There are multiple catamarans docked at King’s Wharf. Viator failed to provide us the name of the vessel that we booked on the confirmation. We asked the info desk at the wharf and the agent said “Maybe it’s the Rising Son”. We walked around and saw a group of people gathered around a tour guide. We gave him our names, and he couldn’t find our names on his list. We showed him our Viator confirmation. He was like “Okay, whatever. You guys are good to come with us”. So we followed him along with the group to the pink catamaran that is “Restless Native” and had the best sailing experience ever. They had unlimited Rum Swizzles with a floating bar, snorkel equipment, kayaking, and SUP. We originally wanted to book Restless Native but it was sold out on the date we wanted, and ended up booking Rising Son. So, we boarded the wrong tour and turned out to be the one that we actually wanted. Advice to Viator: you should print the name of the damn vessel in the confirmation! There are a handful of catamarans at King’s Wharf doing the same activities.
