Shark Bay Kitesurfing School aims to promote the sport of kiteboarding, with focus on best practice safety, rider enjoyment, as well as respect of the natural environment.
We are committed to serving both our community as well as visitors from around the world, teaching them the safest way to kite surfing, in spectacular location in western Australia.
Our goal is to create independent riders, with an excellent level of knowledge and skills that will set them up for a lifetime of creating memories on the water.

5.00Highly recommend booking as many downwinders or kite trips as you can with Damo while you're in Shark Bay. He is an absolute legend with so much knowledge and experience of the Shark Bay area. He'll be able to plan the best experience based on the wind direction and conditions, maximising the kiting fun you have while in the area. Not to mention all of the safety procedures he has in place to deal with any equipment malfunctions etc. If we didn't book a trip with Damo we would have missed out on so much of the kiting in the area. He's fun, kind, safety conscious and just a great person to experience the area with. Our biggest highlight was the 45km downwinder with Damo. Epic flat water, incredible scenery and so much marine life. Highly recommended!

5.00My partner booked a kiteboarding session with Damien for himself and his mate. On the day, the wind wasn't up to speed, rather than just run the lesson and take their money, Damien suggested rebooking to another day and offered to take the guys to a "special spot"...and I could tag along for the day! What a win...turned out to be a bit of a private 4WD tour to a great beach. The wind was perfect, the sky was blue and the water was smooth and aqua. Bonus.....no sand on the beach so I wasn't being whipped by the flying sand while I watched the guys kite...when I had enough of the wind I could sit in the car and still watch and enjoy the view. We then organised another 4WD/kiteboarding adventure with Damien for another day, which somehow managed to top the first day and be even better...and I wasn't even kiteboarding. Damien is a genuine, funny, patient and down right good human!! He absolutely made our week in the area BRILLIANT!!

5.00Damo is a fantastic teacher! Very knowledgeable and a great instructor teaching about safety first always. I felt completely safe, comfortable and confident after each lesson. I had so many laughs during my lessons! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

5.00If you are hesitating, please stop and just do it!! I wanted to realise my dream of learning kitesurf. I took 8h with Damien wich was the best idea I could have. BEST TEACHER EVER!!! Attentive, he makes me feel really secure and confident. And after 8h, I ride for my first time on the board 😃

5.00I had the most amazing experience kitesurfing with this company!! The instructor Damien was super fun and taught me everything I needed to know for my first experience kitesurfing!! Could not recommend this company enough if you are in the area and are adventurous or wanting to learn something new ... I will definitely be back when I am here next :)

5.00We had to stay 3 days in reality we stayed a Week, thanks to Damien who taught us kitesurfing but also organize all the magical places visited, more than an instructor he is a real guide and saved us a lot of time for our research Thank you to the team!

5.00Highly recommended. Super kite school and a totally nice and crazy kite instructor! Damien is really great. Here you learn something and have a lot of fun doing it. Great location to practice especially for beginners like me. Great weather, nice people all tip-top!!

5.00We spent an amazing week in Denham. Kiting with all the good advices of Crazy-Damian was so nice. Amazing downwinds through the lagoon overthere. One of the best place for kiting so far. We'll come back for sure. 😉😉
