We had a wonderful tour with Kenichi. He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and a pleasure to spend time with throughout our three-hour tour. We learned a great deal, had a lot of fun, and truly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!

The visit to Gion with Alex was excellent; everything about the tour and his explanations was super interesting, along with all his recommendations. Very patient with children and the elderly.

We did our guided tour with Jasmine, she was absolutely amazing, very informative and answered every question we had. I would highly highly recommend Jasmine as your tour guide. Gives you time to go into shops, toilet breaks and she does not rush you at all with this! When we come back to Kyoto and do another tour we will be picking Jasmine to guide us around. She was so amazing we ended up booking another tour the next day with her 11/10

Before discovering this tour, my partner and I were frustrated because we couldn't find a guided tour that met our needs in terms of locations (we weren't interested in visiting the main monuments in a single day, we wanted to explore Kyoto by areas to make the most of our time and to avoid going from one crowded attraction to another). So we were very happy to come across this tour of the Higashiyama area. The start time for the activity was excellent, as it wasn't too crowded but we didn't have to get up too early. We visited well-known monuments such as Kiyomizudera Temple, but also others that are perhaps less familiar to foreigners, which were less crowded, resulting in an interesting contrast. One thing to mention is that we did the private tour with Claudia, who offered us a really well-planned and enjoyable route. You can tell she's smart and knowledgeable, plus we thought she seemed quite welcoming. Thanks to her, we stumbled upon a great spot to eat dango, and she also gave us some awesome recommendations for restaurants and other monuments to visit.

It was the second day of my trip and I booked this tour to visit the famous kiyomizudera temple. The guide gives me a lot of information about the differents shrines and answers all my questions on various things. He is like a walking encyclopedia! I am glad I book the tour, I wouldn’t have learnt so much about Kyoto.
