What To Expect

After arriving at the meeting point dressing room, you will be able to change into hiking gear provided by us. A guide will then drive you to the location from Rovaniemi city center, guide you through the Korouoma Canyon where you will see the frozen waterfalls, and afterwards drive you back to your pick-up location at the end of the activity. You'll also be provided food and drinks during the activity.

We had the absolute pleasure of doing the Korouoma Frozen Waterfall Hike with Valtteri as our guide, and it was truly one of the highlights of our time in Lapland. From the moment we were picked up, Valtteri was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He created a great atmosphere in the group and shared stories about the landscape, nature, and local life that made the hike even more meaningful. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking – towering frozen waterfalls and snow-laden forests. Valtteri guided us safely through the snow-covered trails, always checking that everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. We can’t recommend this tour highly enough. If you’re lucky to have Valtteri as your guide, you’re in for a safe, stunning, and truly memorable experience in the Arctic wilderness.

One of the best tours we've ever done. In this case Asier, from the pick up of the tour to the end has been attentive to any need we had and has made the experience better than we expected. I recommend this tour for people who have ever ridden or like nature.

Amazing experience. We did the Korouoma Frozen Waterfalls Hike and could not have been better. We were lucky to have an amazing guide, Sergio. Always explaining and giving curiosities during the trip, super friendly with us and with the other groups. Conditions provided by the company also excellent, could not recommend more.

We did the Korouoma Frozen Warerfalls Hike in March, and the nature was just amazingly beautiful! Our guide was perfect: he was very friendly and well-informed, and we felt very comfortable during the whole trip. This was an amazing experience!! The company was very professional with great communication before the trip. We went for the frozen waterfalls hike in Korouoma. It’s a magical hike. We were given special gear and snacks/drinks were offered. Our guide Valteri was a wonderful local with lots of fun facts and great conversations!! We would recommend choosing this company to everyone :)

Great friendly guide (Cristo). The hike was not too long (ca. 6km) spread across ca. 2 hours. The hike is beautiful with slopes and flat paths. We got water, a little snack, and spikes. The group size was perfect as well with 8 people. We were initially planning on doing the Snowshoeing tour but the staff at the reception advised us against it due to the weather and snow conditions, and we definitely did not regret going for the Korouoma option instead!
