Wine is an integral part of Jewish and Israeli culture.
Half of Jacob's blessing to Judah was connected to wine:
כִּבֵּס בַּיַּיִן לְבֻשׁוֹ וּבְדַם־עֲנָבִים סוּתֹהן
In the days of King Solomon’s rule, there was peace:
"every man under his vine, and under his fig tree,."
Micha's vision for world peace reflects almost the same saying. Ancient Egyptian historians describe Canaan as the best place for wine. Roman historians describe the amazing quality of wine in the Land of Israel. The references go on and on.
A kosher wine tour can be a wonderful experience filled with history, laughter, and tasty delights.
I would like you to experience it in the best possible way.

Ancient Shiloh (Tel Shiloh)
Ancient Shiloh is the site where the Tabernacle stood for 369 years. During these years Shiloh was the capital of the Jewish people. In Shiloh, Joshua divided the inheritance to the tribes of Israel. In Shiloh Hannah prayed and we learn from her how to pray to this day. This fascinating site offers a unique biblical experience, an opportunity to touch the past. The site has plenty of antiquities and a visitor’s center that provide us with the experience of going back in time to the days of the Mishkan. Hannah prayed and was responded at this place 3000 years ago, since then many more people have tried this place for their prayers and many of them have also were heard. You are invited to experience the ancient Shiloh as part of a tour of the best of Binyamin together with Jewish Israel tours.
Psagot Winery
Psagot Winery is located near the Michmash crossing, the same place where the battle between Yonatan ben Shaul, king of Israel, and the Philistines took place. This boutique winery, which won international awards, began with a dreamer who made a winery in the parking lot of his home. But the need for a cheap cooling place made him look for ancient caves in the area. He found a small opening of a cave filled with dirt. After months of excavations, he discovered an ancient cave that was used as a winery 2000 years ago. In the cave he found a coin from the time of the Great Revolt against the Romans. On the coin was an amphora, an ancient wine vessel. Jacob Berg decided it was a sign... The winery has become one of Israel's leading boutique wineries.

Highly recommend!! We had the best time with our guide! The tour was a good mix of wineries and Jewish history and archaeology. If you want to just drink wine this is not the tour for you, but if you want to experience the land of Israel and it’s history while tasting some incredible wines along the way, this a great tour! Worth every penny!

We’ve had 4 days with Eli for excursions around Jerusalem and in the Galilee. We loved it all. Eli responded very well to our wants and needs and created a fantastic itinerary. Then he adjusted for tired kids, bad weather and us wanting to stay in the best winery ever. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very friendly, always smiling. Eli, thank you very much for our fantastic journey.

Great wine tastings, beautiful vines and the knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining tour guide made this a memorable day. He’s fluent in three languages and also served as translator when discussing winemaking techniques and viticulture practices at top wineries in the Judean Hills. His knowledge of the area/locations was impressive and he shared interesting cultural and historical information on the trip. Best day ever in Israel!

Eli is a great tour guide. He is very knowledgeable of the history and geography of the region and a fun person to see the sights of of the Land of Israel with. I highly recommend visiting the wineries of the Shomron and Benjamin when you are in Israel. Don't miss it.
