What a brilliant tour! George was really welcoming and knowledgable of Southern Crete. The sights were beautiful and breath taking. Once we had been to the waterfall and Prevali beach we had lunch at Agia Fotia right by the sea. The food was amazing. Would 100% recommend booking this tour you wouldn't regret it!

George was a brilliant guide, really welcoming and knowledgeable, I would highly recommend him for a trip to the South of Crete and I'm sure he would be excellent for any other trip. He picked us up from our hotel and we travelled across Heraklion and Rethymno, which had some great views. Not only was the Kourtaliotiko Gorge beautiful, although cold and definitely take beach shoes, but so was the surrounding area. George knew all of the hints and tips so we didn't have to queue or walk for long in the heat. We then went to Preveli Beach and went back along the coastline, stopping at a taverna that was recommended by George and popular with the locals, Agia Fotia. The food was delicious. Thanks for a great day George - enjoyed by the whole family.

September 2025 Our day began with a warm good morning at the Ibis Styles Hotel. From there, we journeyed across the diverse regions of Heraklion and Rethymno, taking in the ever-changing landscapes of Crete. After admiring a panoramic view of the beautiful city of Rethymno from above, we continued south to the village of Koxare, where we embraced a beloved Cretan tradition — enjoying Greek coffee ritual at a local kafenio. With our energy renewed, we ventured into the Kourtaliotiko Gorge, fully immersing ourselves in its wild beauty, exploring hidden corners, and reaching places few ever Experience . What a BEAUTIFUL PLACE! Our path then led us to Preveli Beach, approached from the side trail, which gave us the time and freedom to explore this unique setting in our own way. In the afternoon, we returned to Rethymno’s Old Town, where we parked by the great Fortezza. Dimitri guided us to the Venetian port, and following George’s suggestion, we enjoyed lunch at Achinos and had free time to explore the old city’s charming alleys. Both George and Dimitri were great from point of contact, to pick up, and drop off. What a fabulous private tour to end our time in Greece. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! __ Tina S

This was a really memorable private tour experience. George knew about some great places to eat and drink, and make the day special for us on our honeymoon. We would gladly have him as a tour guide again!

We truly had the best time, it was an amazing experience. They picked us up, took us to get some local Greek coffee, then to the waterfall. After the waterfall we headed to the beach which was just beautiful. After the beach we went to an amazing beach front restaurant with amazing food. If it wasn’t for sunsud tours, we wouldn’t have been able to experience any of this.

My wife and I had a wonderful and unforgettable experience with George as our driver and guide. We like finding adventure when we travel and this was perfect. The swim up the river to see the waterfall is an experience we will never forget. Kalypso beach was great as well with snorkeling and even some cliff jumping. George was a wonderful guide for our adventure and was a wealth of knowledge about Crete and Greece. If you like adventure, this is a must do in Crete

Our day began with a warm “good morning” at the Port of Heraklion. From there, we journeyed across the diverse regions of Heraklion and Rethymno, taking in the ever-changing landscapes of Crete. After admiring a panoramic view of Rethymno from above, we continued south to the village of Koxare, where we embraced a beloved Cretan tradition — enjoying Greek coffee at a local Kafenio. You also discovered the charming old custom of reading the “secrets” left in the coffee cup. With our energy renewed, we ventured into the Kourtaliotiko Gorge, immersing ourselves in its untamed beauty, exploring hidden corners, and reaching places few ever do. Our next stop was Kalypso Beach — a secluded cove framed by dramatic cliffs plunging into crystal-clear waters. Once a hideout for pirates, this spot still carries a sense of mystery and adventure. You spent a couple of carefree hours here, swimming, relaxing, and soaking in the raw beauty of the south coast. As midday approached, we made our way back to your boat, with an adventurous unblocking of the road. This trip was perfect to do something besides normal quick trips
