For centuries, in Poland, beer was so important that even the word for cellar - piwnica - means “beer place.”
Polish tradition is no exception. For centuries, beer was so important that it’s still reflected in the language - the Polish word for cellar literally means “beer place.”
Today, the common perception is that Poland is a country of vodka; there are reasons behind that image, and everything is explained during the craft beer tour! / craft beer?
We’ve put together a route for you that takes in three different spots:
- We’ll start with a visit to a brewpub - a bar that brews its own beer in the cellar
- We’ll sample different beer styles, including the only Polish style that has survived to this day!
- We’ll talk about the history of beer from its beginnings to the modern Craft Revolution.
After the tour, not only will you have a better understanding of the world of beer, but you’ll know more about Polish beer than the Poles themselves!

We did the Spanish tour with Agustin, we were only 4 people although then two more added. You rating he's passionate. He gave us all kinds of explanations and we spent a really nice and relaxed afternoon. Gives time to talk about everything besides beer is 100% recommended

I had the reservation days ago, I arrived at the meeting point and I see that there were pure gringos and I had booked in Spanish, they told me to wait and the guide arrived. We waited if someone else joined the Spanish Tour but Nobody arrived, so I told myself that bad luck is surely canceled): , but I was not told that I still did. I made it a personalized tour! Super friendly guide (I don't remember its name), Attentive where it tells you the story and takes a tour of the best beer in Krakow!

The important thing about a trip is the memories you have left of it and, without a doubt, the beer tour will be something we will remember. It was fun and we learned a lot, not only from beer, but also from Poland and its traditions. Thank you, Matthias.

We were lucky enough to not only be two of only three in the whole group, so it was practically a personal tour of Krakow, but to also be taken by the man who started this tour off, you could tell this by his passion for Krakow and Craft beer. And it was a real pleasure to be taken round by him. We experienced bars we hadn't really taken note of and tasted beer we'd never heard of. If you want something a little bit different from the usual tour and you like your beer go on this tour!

Jerry (I hope I remember that right) did a fantastic job of showing us 3 local venues and teaching us a lot about the local beer scene, history and culture. We were lucky to have a small group, only 4 guests, which made the tour really intimate and far more enjoyable. It was like chatting with some mates while vitising nice bars and drinking good beer. Great value for money also. Thanks for a great tour!

Brilliant tour with fantastic guide Tomasz Golden. Great tasting opportunities and nice rather non-touristy locations visited. For anyone into craft beers this tour is a definite win and dig.
