Day 1 - We depart from Johannesburg at 8:00am and head off to Kruger National Park, a 5 hour journey by road. We take a lunch break along the way (own expense). When we arrive in Kruger National Park, you go into the sunset game safari commencing at 3pm. Thereafter we check into the hotel for the night, Kruger Adventure Lodge (dinner, bed and breakfast package).

Day 2 - full day safari at Kruger National Park. Our safaris are done in open game vehicles specialized for game viewing with a qualified guide for the day. Although not guaranteed, you will have an excellent chance of seeing all of the big 5. We currently have about an 80% success rate in spotting big 5 animals in just one game drive. A must do activity to complete your African safari adventure! After enjoying a cup of tea/coffee and some biscuits 15 minutes before your departure time, you will be handed a packed breakfast to take with you and enjoy inside the Kruger National Park. A stop at one of the rest camps will be made around lunch time allowing you to get lunch (own expense) long the way. Full Day Safari: Summer departure times: 05:30am, returns: 15:00pm Winter departure times: 06:00am, returns 15:00pm Overnight at Kruger Adventure Lodge or similar hotel.

Travel until we reach Gauteng Province and proceed to Johannesburg to end the tour.

5.00A professionally arranged safari tour package for a beginner African safari tourist. I was a first timer not only in Africa, but into wild animal safari in general, and from a highly professional hotel pick up, great customer service, great communication with the business operator through WhatsApp, to the actual safari at the lodge, and Jo’burg return trip - this was a great 3-day safari trip well worth it. I always feel that you sometimes get lucky with the best tour guides, which I did this time. “Elec” the actual safari guide, who works for the Adventure Lodge has been the absolute best field guide! Fun, knowledgeable & friendly! Makes all the difference. He is constantly in touch with his “mates” on the field (other safari tour guides inside the Kruger National Park) keeping each other informed on the location of major animals (e.g. rhinos, lions, leopards) and Elec did his absolute best to prioritize these harder to spot animals so that all of us leaves having seen the Big 5 animals! You can tell that he is really friendly with the other guides as well. To note - this was actually a 0.5 day evening safari trip well - 1 full day safari - then a 0.5 day morning safari on the schedule. And the safari only enters the park through the same Phabeni gate each time, which is located on the southern side of the park.
