Tours Maputo offers a Kruger experience of the highest quality. Clients are picked up in Maputo and taken in air-conditioned comfort to the Kruger Park gate. Our driver assists travellers with the border processes.
Once at the Kruger Gate travellers change to the unique open-backed safari vehicle and the experienced and accredited nature guide takes guests on an unforgettable and education experience with sightings of the Big Five frequent in this populated area of the park.
In the evening travellers will recharge their energy at our famed accommodation partner before an early start the following morning
At the end of the third day we bring travellers safely back to Maputo after a long but truly exhilarating 3 days.

Kruger National Park
Maputo to Kruger Park takes about 2 hours depending on the border crossing. Once at Kruger you will change from your Air-conditioned vehicle to an open-backed safari vehicle as we spend the day looking for the most interesting animals. Lunch is at one of the Rest camps overlooking the lovely Sabie River. At the end of the day you will be back at your lodge to rest.

5.00This was my very first time to do safari and also first time to South Africa, so I did not have any concepts about things and have loads of questions. I compared between 4 agencies and Tours Maputo stood out with their prompt responses and customized reply plus PATIENCE, to make sure all my doubts are cleared. I very much appreciated that especially for a first-timer! The tour guide assigned to us for our 2 full day game drives was Valencia, she was AMAZING - warm and caring, super service-minded, make sure everyone on the safari got their chance and time for photos, at the same time make the best out of the time we had (we spotted the big 4 on 1st day and the big 5 on 2nd day, among many other animals), with her eagle eyes and constant attention she keep spotting animals we did not even notice, also much appreciated her sharing of all her knowledge about the animals. Last but not least, she is naturally cheerful and bubbly with a good balance, making the whole experience very pleasant. In short 10 OUT OF 10 with no doubts!! We feel so so lucky to have her as our tour guide! Thank you again Valencia! :) We also want to thank the driver Alfainho who took us from Maputo to Kruger, and also on our way back from Kruger yo Maputo airport to catch our international flight back home. I was bit stressed about the timing and the uncertainty for border crossing, but we Alfainho was very reliable and experienced so we feel we’re in good hands. Thank you again Alfainho! :) Long text since they definitely deserve this. I would undoubtedly recommend Tours Maputo, Valencia, and Alfainho to anyone who would like to experience Kruger! :)

5.00We had an excellent time leaving from Maputo for safari in Kruger. Alfainho was an excellent driver and the trip across the border was smooth both ways despite long lines and multiple checkpoints. Mr. G was our safari guide and we had a great time with him seeing many animals.
