Jakes has a professional yet very easy going way about him, coupled with his passion and knowledge- made this an adventure my wife and I won’t soon forget. We had amazing views of lion, elephant, giraffe, etc. - but frankly the real value of being with Jakes was his understanding of the behaviors, vegetation and ecosystem of creatures large and small… so much fun!! Thanks for a fantastic day btw, in the event you’re traveling in the winter- be sure to bundle for the morning trip from Hoedspruit to Kruger :)

Jakes and Colette made our family safari in the Kruger exceed all expectations! Everything was done with care and patience, every details and info about the park, the animal and even the trees and flowers! From the predators to the birds and the snare, we saw them all and kept jumping from one excitement to another. Thanks so much for this unforgettable experience.

We experienced a first class five star service by Jakes and Colette during our two day trip in the Kruger Park. We were fortunate enough to see many different animals. The team is very knowledgeable about the animals and the plants, the history for the Kruger Park and much more. Throughout the journey they provided useful and interesting information which made our experience unforgettable. At the Olifants Lodge we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and the next morning they drove us to a lovely spot above the river to observe the sunrise, spectacular!

Our group of 4 spent a wonderful 2 days with Jakes and Colette in the Kruger Park, sleeping over in Olifants Camp, which has a superb view. The next morning we enjoyed delicious coffee and rusks, watching an eye-wateringly beautiful sunrise over a river, far below. Thereafter we visited Letaba, which has a fascinating elephant museum. Due to the hight of the seats in the Land Cruiser, it is easy to see many animals. They are knowledgeable, friendly, experienced, and fun to be with. We have already started discussing our next, longer trip to the northern camps in Kruger, and of course it will be with them

We had a great day with Stanley at Kruger National Park. Stanley explained a lot to us and gave us a great stay. By communicating with other guides, he always took us to the interesting spots and we could see many animals. There was always enough time for questions, photos or stops for breaks. A successful day!
