"We had an incredible time with Kosuke on the Kyoto: Arashiyama unveiled- Bamboo, Temple, Matcha, Monkeys. He was incredibly knowledgeable about local history and hidden spots, sharing stories that really brought the city to life. They was personable, energetic, and made sure everyone in the group felt included and comfortable. Highly recommend!

It was a rainy day but it didn't stop the tour or the fun. The scenery was beautiful. It was a real climb up to the monkeys but was worth it. Our guide was very personable.

Kosuke was an amazing guide, filled with the bits of knowledge about a bit of everything, didn't shy away from a multitude of questions from the group, was patient and good spirited the entire time. You'll be lucky to get him as your guide! As for the tour itself, feels like you get an Arashiayama overview without feeling rushed or pressured, seeing the highlights of the area. Plus, if you want to take more time, it ends early enough that you can stick around the area for more. Well worth it!

Kosuke was such a friendly, smart, patient and kind guide. We learned a lot, and had a splendid afternoon! Definitely dress in layers because it gets hot during the hike up to see the monkeys, and of course, where comfortable shoes because you will be doing a lot of walking. Your experience is about 3 hrs. Aim for earlier in the day so you can get the best pics at the temples and forest. Would highly recommend!
