5.00My partner and I decided on a whim to do this workshop, and it was honestly one of my favorite things I’ve done in Japan! If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind experience in Kyoto, and you want to take a break from all the walking, this is the place for you! It was such a light atmosphere, and the workers were entertaining, curious about our individual backgrounds, and knowledgeable about Japan and the history of chopsticks — all while working everyone through the steps to make their pair of chopsticks, engraving them, etc. 10/10 experience and recommend for anyone looking to get out of the sun (or in our case the rain) and create your own souvenir.
