What To Expect
Nara Park
Nara Park is famous for the 1,200 or so wild deer that live freely within the park. Within Nara Park you will find the Todai-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Originated from Kinshozan-ji Temple, which was built in 728 (the 5th year of the Jinki era) to mourn the death of Emperor Shomu's crown prince, Imperial Prince Motoi. Although the present reconstruction of 1692 is only two-thirds of the original temple hall's size, Daibutsuden (Big Buddha Hall), Todaiji's main hall, is one of the biggest wooden structures in the world. The 15 meters tall, seated Buddha represents Vairocana and is flanked by two Bodhisattvas, is residing in this temple. 2.00We had a tough start. Our tour guide changed our start time at 2:00 in the morning the day of our tour and then showed up late. We had to stop for gas right away and he did not have a toll way pass so we had to stop and pay in person at every toll. After a couple of emails with the tour company our tour guide got a call and the rest of the tour was fine and he got us to all the stops.

5.00We had an amazing time on this tour. We were able to customize it so we could visit Matcha Street in Uji as well as visit the places on the tour; Nara Park and Fushimi Inari Shrine. Hamza was an excellent guide, he pointed out things we were seeing along the drive, picked us up just on time, and had us back to the cruise port in Osaka with time to spare. Would highly recommend this tour!

5.00Hamzah arranged a full week of full day tours all the way from when we landed in Haneda, to touring Tokyo for two days, to touring Kyoto/Nara for two days, to touring Mt Fuji, to touring Tokyo again, to finally dropping us back off at Haneda. Completely custom, extremely well arranged. Hamzah, Ali and team always immediately responded - even when I contacted them at odd hours from the US and at all times during the trip. Highly recommend. My family and I will use their services over and over again.
