5.00If you're in Costa Rica, you have to find Jose David at Finca Curubanda. What started as a quick 2 PM stop at Llanos del Cortés turned into an unforgettable 'Avatar' adventure. From off-roading in a jeep to having our faces painted and exploring hidden caves with waterfalls inside—it was pure magic. It reminded me of the famous caves in Vegas, but with the added beauty of flowing water and lush jungle. The team is so authentic and kind; they even offered us their own shoes when they saw we weren't prepared! No pressure, just pure 'Pura Vida' vibes. Don’t just look at the waterfalls—experience them with these guys! 🇨🇷💦

5.00We signed up for the 7:30 tour to be the first to the waterfall & we had the place all to ourselves! Luis was an amazing guide - we saw an anteater, owls & bats. He also talked about some of the trees & local customs. He was so patient & helpful! Also - this company offers the earliest tours & is closest to the waterfall. We didn’t think we signed up for a private tour but it was just Luis & the 2 of us. He said they try to do private tours when they can. This adventure got me a little out of my comfort zone - just the right amount. It was perfect & beautiful!

5.00Our group of 8 loved the La Leona waterfall hike. We took the adventure route which required scaling up rock walls with ropes (and our guide for support), cliff jumping, swimming, and more... Luis was a great guide - knowledgeable about the area and very safety conscious. Highly recommend (but not in the rainy season)
