5.00Edson, the owner of Sami Tours, put together an awesome custom private half day tour of La Paz for us. We rode several teleferico lines and saw numerous sights around town. The tour flowed really well and we tasted some great snacks as well. Edson shared stories of the past and present with us and made us feel welcome in Bolivia. I highly recommend this tour.

The guide was knowledgeable and fun and we learned a ton about Bolivia's history and culture. I highly recommend this tour company.

5.00So glad I booked this customizable tour! Nickey was our guide and she was fantastic! We were able to learn so much about La Paz through Nickey as opposed to not doing a tour. We felt very safe throughout the tour and got to see areas that we would not have visited, if not for Nickey. Thank you, Nickey, for this unforgettable experience!

From the very beginning, he was incredibly friendly, approachable, and engaging, which made the entire day both enjoyable and memorable. He has a great personality—very talkative in the best way—and made us feel comfortable asking questions and having open conversations. What truly set Edson apart was his deep knowledge of Bolivia. He shared not only historical and cultural information, but also thoughtful insights into Bolivian society, daily life, and political perspectives. His explanations were clear, honest, and balanced, which gave us a much deeper understanding of the country beyond what we could have learned from guidebooks alone. Thanks to Edson, the city tour felt personal and meaningful rather than rushed or generic. We learned a lot, laughed a lot, and came away with a genuine appreciation for La Paz and Bolivia as a whole. We highly recommend Edson to anyone visiting La Paz and looking for a knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely kind local guide.

5.00This tour was fantastic. My guide, Nickey, was friendly and very knowledgeable. A few days before the tour, the company reached out about my interests and was able to create a custom tour based on them. For me, this meant adding a gastronomic aspect to the tour, which was awesome. Everything I ate was delicious, and Nickey did a great job of giving me some insight into Bolivian cuisine. I would definitely recommend this tour!
