It was a long day. After a minor miscommunication we were picked up at 7 am and taken to Cabo Adventures to sign in. We were told about a 10 min wait that turned into 45. The bus ride was long (3 plus hours) to get to the boat. The boat was nice but it had too many flies. They need to use some fans or fly strips. The snorkeling was ok but not world class. We moved to the hidden beach and I snorkeled there a little. Pretty clear water but you can see that the hot water is bleaching the coral. Again a long ride back with one stop fo a restroom break. The bus took us back to the hotel which took another hour. Total 13 hour day. With tips I spent an extra $80 over and above the ticket prices (for two).

The crew were friendly and professional and the view is pretty from the boat. But the description and photos are misleading. You don’t actually enter the most famous shallow bay or even land at the famous La Balandra beach at all. You don’t land or even get close to the famous “mushroom rock” just take a distant photo of it from the boat. Wr could see lots of other tour groups that took smaller boats to the mushroom and further in the bay, and while we did take a smaller boat to land at a different smaller beach they did not do that for the most famous locations There were a lot of tiny invisible jellyfish at both the locations they stopped for half an hour to snorkel and 45 min stop at a much smaller beach, and having been stung several times it was hard to relax in the water. Thankfully I brought medication for me and another woman who was also stung When I had originally asked about jellyfish on the bus, the tour guide brushed it off and didn’t give any advice or further information to the group about them. The bus ride is very long, about 3+ hours each way because they first pick you up from your hotel along with several other hotel stops then shuttle you to their main office in downtown Cabo where you have to check in, pay an extra $20, then wait around until they put you all on a different bus Honestly not really worth the money, and if I had to do over again I would do a different tour company that gets you further into the actual famous La Balandra bay

This is an ALL DAY activity. Our pickup was @ 7:25 am & we were dropped back at our resort just after 6pm. It’s a LONG day but worth it for the beautiful scenery! The whole tour was seamless from start to finish. Communication during the booking process was easy and quick thru the chat tab. Our pickup was prompt and directions clear — don’t be afraid to confirm/ ask questions thru the chat tab. We were picked up in a small van, transferred to the Cabo Adventure main site for checkin and waited less than 15 min for larger group to board our large bus and 2 hr ride to La Paz, with a quick bathroom stop about an hour in. There’s a small convenience store you can purchase snacks, drinks etc if you choose. The bus was comfortable, had good AC! Bring a book, your phone or just catch a nap & the ride goes quickly. The crew is pleasant, gives easy, clear instructions & provides great service. The boat ride is pleasant & the water in the beach areas is just gorgeous. You have the option to snorkel, swim or just stay in the boat at the first stop. We had a guide that led us to areas of interest - tons of coral, small tropical fish, puffer fish and small octopus nestled in the coral. The marine life is ok but not as prolific as in some areas - this tour is more about the natural beauty of beaches & being on the water than seeing marine life. The second stop was gorgeous! A smaller boat will transfer you to beach. There you have the option to sit in chairs under umbrellas, kayak or just swim or hang out in the shallows. We saw small puffer fish and my daughter saw a couple small octopi while snorkeling near the coral along the cliff. This was their favorite area to just relax in shallows & have a beer. The stay here is an hour but goes quickly. You load up on the smaller boat and return to the catamaran for short ride back to the marina and 2 hr return ride to Cabo with same bathroom stop on ride back. Be sure to reapply sunscreen at each stop! Sun is brutal!
