We had a great time. Three hour tour. He was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He was happy to make some changes in itenerary, picked us up at the port and was great. Vehicle was very comfortable and was roomy enough for 2 fat guys and their wives! Well worth the price, one of the the best tours we have ever taken.

Hands down one of the best tours I have ever had ever. He is extremely knowledgeable - not just about everything to do and where to go, but the history of everything; answered all of my questions and I had a lot! He tailored the trip to hit everything we wanted without making us feel rushed at all. I will definitely be booking again when we go back. A+++++

After a river cruise, my husband and I had a day to spend in NOLA before our flight. Ben and LaVie NOLA were an excellent way to spend the day! He and his team worked with us ahead of time to find the tour that would meet our needs and get us and our luggage to the airport in time for our flight. We really enjoyed Benjamin's deep understanding of the history of New Orleans. We have been to NOLA many times, but he managed to engage us with details that we didn't know. In the afternoon, we toured Laura plantation. We have toured many plantation homes, but the history of the family was never given in such rich details as at Laura - it is a hidden gem. We strongly recommend LaVia NOLA for both those new to NOLA and experienced travelers. You will have a great time.

Benjamin was a very knowledgeable and kind man. We took the private tour do to having a 85 year old woman with a walker and another disable person. Benjamin brought a stool and helped with the walker. We got to see anything we could possibly think of. Thank you Benjamin!

This was our family’s first visit to New Orleans, and knowing we only had a few days, I decided a private tour was the best way to truly experience the city. We wanted more than a surface visit—we hoped to gain a deeper appreciation for New Orleans’ history, culture, architecture, food, and overall vibe. After doing some research and watching a few YouTube videos, I knew La Vie Nouvelle Orleans 1718 Private Tours was the right choice. We opted for the combined City and Swamp Tour, and it was worth every dollar. Ben was fantastic from pickup to drop-off, sharing his city from so many different angles and perspectives. From the French Quarter to the Garden District, Treme to Mid-City, we experienced the very best of New Orleans with a bona fide local who clearly loves what he does. The private swamp tour, arranged through Ben’s local outfitter contacts, was equally incredible. We learned about the culture, wildlife, and daily life of the bayou, as well as the real impacts of climate on the region. And of course, no New Orleans experience would be complete without food. Ben even took us to a locals’ favorite spot for Po’boys, which did not disappoint! Even after the tour ended, Ben’s recommendations for restaurants and places to explore kept us going strong for the rest of our trip. We can’t wait to return to New Orleans and highly recommend La Vie Nouvelle Orleans to anyone looking for an authentic, thoughtful, and unforgettable tour experience.

We had a great driving tour of New Orleans, which was great since it rained. We saw all the sights. Stopped for chicory coffee and beignets at a less crowded Cafe du Monde. Our driver was very knowledgeable and showed us places a normal tour wouldn’t. I’d definitely recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful 3+ hour tour of New Orleans with Benjamin and it wasn't enough. He is a native of NOLA and has a wealth of knowledge from the history of the area to where to eat, drink and what to see. Benjamin has an itinerary in mind, but is happy to accomodate requests such as seeing where scenes from tv and movies have been shot. We will definitely be back for another adventure with him!
