The Zamzama Gun located directly in front of the Lahore Museum, were made famous in the celebrated British novel Kim, written by Rudyard Kipling--whose father was one of the museum's earliest curators.
Minar-e-Pakistan
Minar-e-Pakistan is a national monument located in Lahore. The Tower was built between 1960 and 1968 on the site where the All-India Muslim League passed the Lahore Resolution on 23rd March 1940.

5.00I had an insightful and enjoyable Lahore walking tour with Pastenlighten Tours. Bilawal guided me through the Walled City of Lahore, Badshahi Mosque and Lahore Fort, sharing fascinating history and hidden stories. Bilawal is a natural storyteller and has a lot of knowledge and insight. He is also an amazing human being and keen to share his knowledge in a straightforward and passionate way. I was interested in a Sufi tour of some of the shrines and Bilawal took me to a few Sufi shrines and it was an unforgettable experience for me to visit the shrines. I will always cherish these moments. I am really grateful for the opportunity to meet Bilawal and to do the tour and get to experience Pakistan's wonderful history. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lahore.

The guide took us through the historical and cultural landmarks of Lahore, including the Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort, and Shahi Garhi. We also enjoyed the delicious local cuisine. 5.00I thoroughly enjoyed my tour with Maqbool today. It exceeded my expectations. I felt like I saw all the major sights of the city, from the main walled part to an exciting walk through the streets of another area and finishing with the flag lowering ceremony which was totally not what I expected at all and an experience I will never forget. I could tell Maqbool was very well respected around town and I was fortunate to have him as my guide. I also have to give thanks to the driver for navigating the traffic of the city which was also an experience.

5.00This is a must do if visiting Lahore! The guide is amazing and very knowledgeable. They are as well really flexible when it comes to pick-up times and duration of the different tours. Visit their webpage and talk with them from there if you need special arrangements - like we did. We got to experience the most historical places of Lahore in about 6,5 hours. All you need to bring is good mood as the host has all fees and other necessary things arranged.
