5.00Our guide Matejia was a gem! She taught us so much about Slovenia, its history and people while we were driving to Lake Bled. We had a little over an hour at the Lake and wished we had more time. It was magnificent and we could have spent the day there. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to visit the church on the island but we did enjoy walking around and sampling Bled cake. Afterwards we drove to Ljubljana and joined a quick tour with another guide. The best part was shopping in a local market and visiting the Dragon bridge. This is a lovely excursion that allows you to sample the country of Slovenia. We’d love to return someday.

5.00We had an amazing day visiting Lake Bled and Ljubljana! Our tour guide Juirji was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable and fun, and even knew some alternate routes to bypass a short traffic jam. I very highly recommend this tour! One of the best tours we've taken!!

5.00Ljubljana and Lake Bled are two must see sights in Slovenia and this trip was a great way to see them both. In one day trip. Shame we couldn’t have spent longer at each destination, but a great sampler. Pickup right at cruise terminal by the delightful Damir. One hour trip to Ljubljana, with drop off at beautiful castle overlooking town for 2 hours in our own time. Would have been better if we’d been given more information en route and a free tourist map. Stunning city, clean, beautiful and with no cars. Then 45 minutes to Lake Bled which was gorgeous. We were given over one hour, enough time to take the boat trip to the church and to ring the bell and climb the bell tower. Then quick trip to the castle with stunning views over lake. Our guide was happy to give us as much time as we wanted. Thirty minutes was rushed but enough. With the 90 minute ride back to Koper total excursion time was 9 hours, crossing this scenic small country from the sea in the south to the alps in the north. Fabulous and much cheaper than a ship-organised trip (and on our cruise the combo to both places wasn’t offered). Thoroughly recommended.
