What To Expect
Pick up at Lake Bled from where the 10-minute drive to the takeoff location begins. At the takeoff, a small briefing and preparation for the flight is a must; you will be equipped with a helmet and seated in a paragliding trike. The starting sequence will start, the pilot will do all the work, and the passenger will just enjoy the smooth takeoff on the wheels... The flight continues towards beautiful Lake Bled, flying over the lake, Bled Castle, and Bled Island, enjoying beautiful scenery, following the Sava River towards Radovljica, passing the small Lake of Sobec, Bled Golf Course, and finishing with a smooth landing on the wheels…

5.00In my opinion this was not "extreme". I am a retired pilot with over 22.000 hours logged. During my career I flew light aircraft, biplanes, twin propeller aircraft, business jets and airliners such as Fokker F27, Metroliner, Shorts 3-60, ATR 42 and BAC 1-11. On the minus side I am 82 years old and still recovering from a triple bypass operation. But there was no rising blood pressure, only great enjoyment. Dragan steered the machine expertly. My only regret was that it ended far too soon, after 40 minutes. When I was a student pilot, in the 1960s, Cessna issued a metal badge with the words: "If I can fly, You can fly." This is my advice to those who are interested in this great experience. I have absolutely no connections with LakeBledParagliding, other than this flight.
