  Emil was a great guide! Extremely knowledgeable about Bled and Slovenia as a whole. We loved hearing about the history and culture of the country.

  Our driver guide Nath was truly excellent. He was a very knowledgeable, and provided us with lots of information about lots of different aspects about the country. He was also an excellent driver (which is also very important!). He was very kind and despite the fact that half of our little group decided to take the walk around the lake and we decided to take the boat, he ensured that we managed to get on board the boat (there was quite a lot of confusion with a large group there). Equally he ensured the other group were looked after. Highly recommended.

  Everything was just great ! Nate is a wonderful guide very interesting and caring. He went out of is way for us. I will recommend him and if I come back to Slovenia I would like to do a tour with him again.

• Lake Bled is a must see trip

  Our guide David was great - knowledgable, professional, and friendly. This tour is a must, if you are staying in Ljubljana or nearby. Lake Bled is truly stunning. You get to go across to the island and climb the steps to the church, or walk round the lake if you prefer. The castle is the first stop, and here is where you get your first view of the lake from up high. The day is not rushed, there is free time to walk around the castle, and the island on Lake Bled, and even time for a coffee and traditional Slovenian cream cake if you want. The pick up and drop off was very easy, with precise pin drop on Google maps. A very enjoyable trip.

  Lake Bled and its setting is breathtakingly beautiful. Our driver guide Nate (or Nathan) was a really nice young man who went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. Bled is less than an hour's drive from Ljubljana. We visited Bled castle and then had plenty of time to walk around the lake and soak in the atmosphere. The original cream cake at the Cafe opposite the Park Hotel is worth trying.
