From October 13, 2025, to December 5, 2025, the catamaran will be undergoing maintenance. During this time, the cruise will be operated by one of our Motor vessels. Tickets are valid in 2. Class (main floor). During this time the drink and snack vending machine is not available.
Sometimes there simply isn't enough time to spend an entire day on magnificent Lake Lucerne, but for those moments we are pleased to offer convenient short cruises. These still allow you to enjoy the best of the lake and get a feel for the fantastic mountain landscape in the heart of the Swiss Alps. We recommend the round-trip journey from Lucerne to Kehrsiten-Bürgenstock and back aboard our elegant catamaran. Just stay on the ship when it docks at the Kehrsiten-Bürgenstock pier, for the immediate return to Lucerne.
Snacks and drinks can be purchased at a vending machine on board.

3.00We booked a 1-hour catamaran cruise and we got a glorified tugboat. Workers said the catamaran was in for repairs. We weren't notified or given the option to cancel. We were disappointed that we didn't cruise on a catamaran, however the "tugboat" was sufficient to cruise on Lake Lucerne and take in all of the Lucerne beauty!

3.00The cruise is lovely but it definitely wasn’t a catamaran and was just the standard ferry that travels back and forward across the lake. Feel the advertising was quite misleading.

5.00Traveled with friends on a day trip to Lucerne. The cruise was relaxing, scenic and comfortable at the end of our day and docked right next to the train station . There was no narration but we didn’t mind and I’m not sure one was needed. Refreshments and beer were sold on board. It’s also a commuter boat to a resort.

3.00We were a little disappointed to find out that this was a commuter boat. We had envisioned a tour boat with commentary about the area. The snacks and drinks onboard were limited to a vending machine. Only lite beer and no wine, really? The “cruise” took us around the lake, and we were thankful for nice warm indoor seating and covered seating outside, since it was a rainy day. It was nice to take a trip around the lake, just expected something a little different.
