The trip to Ohrid was beyond spectacular — truly the highlight of my entire stay in Macedonia! The views were absolutely beautiful, and the people were amazing. Our guide, Vladimir, was exceptionally good — so kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made the whole experience so special and memorable. I highly recommend this tour and hope to come again in the future, hopefully bringing more people with me!

Fabulous United World Heritage Site. Magical Lake Ohrid between 2 and 3 million years old. Excellent sandy beaches. An abundance of bars and restaurants with a view of the lake. Old Bazaar in the centre. Churches365 of them!!known also for Ohrid pearls made from fish scales from the lake. Fab jewellery. Loved it and the sun even shone in October

This was such a great day tour from Skopje. It actually wanted me to have stayed longer in Ohrid, what a pretty, picturesque city! Our guide was very helpful with everything, knowledgeable and well organized. He gave us a good explanation on North Macedonia during the car drive and in Ohrid he provided lots of interesting information on the different sights (the fortress, the lake, the town and little churches) - I took so much from this tour and can highly recommend it to anyone. :)

Vlad was a great guide. He was very relaxed, easy going and knowledgeable. He answered any questions we had and was engaging to speak with and the trip seemed to flow very easily. The journey was long but he did a great job, getting us there and back safely and with no hitches. Great trip and definitely a highlight. Would recommend.

This tour is really just a combined price for two half-day tours. But they are both really good! Matka is a must-see and of course you can do so without a guide, but Toni really provided both excellent guiding for the canyon and a very thorough walk-through of Macedonian history from the ancient times to post-Yuogoslavia. The food by foot tour is an excellent concept and we got to taste some really delicious items! However, we would have liked to see more of the old bazaar on this one. Overall a great day of Skopje highlights!
