What To Expect
Johnston Canyon
Note: After June 1st, this attraction will be replace by Moraine Lake. Johnston Creek originates north of Castle Mountain in a glacial valley southwest of Badger Pass The creek flows through a gorge known as Johnston Canyon. As Johnston Creek approaches the Bow River, it flows through a large canyon formed by erosion over thousands of years. The creek has cut through the limestone rock to form sheer canyon walls, as well as waterfalls, tunnels, and pools.
Castle Mountain is a mountain located within Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, approximately halfway between Banff and Lake Louise. The mountain was named in 1858 by James Hector for its castle-like appearance

5.00Alex was a great guide. He worked hard to please. He was a careful driver. We are glad we took the tour since we could not drive to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Public transportation would take extra time. We saw so many areas we did not know about. It was stated to call and confirm 24 hours before which we diid but Tony seemed very confused and was difficult to understand. We are glad Alex picked us up and everything was good. I wish the description was better since a walking stick would have been helpful to have with me.
