What To Expect
Hjalparfoss
Hjálparfoss is a peaceful waterfall where the Fossá and Þjórsá rivers meet, tumbling together from a lava field formed by eruptions of the nearby Hekla volcano. It lies in one of Iceland’s most geologically dynamic regions. Just downstream, its waters help power Iceland’s second-largest hydroelectric dam.
Hnausapollur crater lake also known as Blahylur was formed during an immense volcanic eruption in 871, just a few years before Iceland's first settlers reportedly arrived.

5.00This trip was absolutely amazing! We had such a great time and saw countless breathtaking views. Even the drive itself was an adventure – going off-road, crossing rivers, and exploring Iceland’s rugged highlands. We visited stunning waterfalls, a crystal-clear blue lake, and colorful mountains that looked like another world. To top it all off, we enjoyed a dip in a natural hot spring with the most incredible view. Our guide Boris was fantastic – knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience unforgettable. We can’t recommend this tour enough!

5.00We had a wonderful day on our tour – the weather worked out perfectly, so our drive was really scenic, and our guide didn’t mind stopping anywhere we wanted. We saw so many breathtaking places, but we never felt rushed at all. We also had a dip in natural hot springs with a view and went for a walk. Boris was really helpful and kind, and he has a very spacious car, so the ride was comfortable too! We definitely recommend him!

Boris was kind, super funny and incredibly informative while being able to show us the best out of Iceland and offroad driving was so much fun! He was even able to show us all this stunning sceneries at the times when noone else was there!
