Mahsuri's Tomb
After hotel or port pickup at 9.00am, we will visit the legendary Mahsuri’s tomb (the site where Mahsuri died). The legend of Mahsuri supposedly accounts for Langkawi’s relatively ‘newfound’ success and judging by its increasing prosperity, the island has survived the curse. Description Mahsuri Tomb-Makam Mahsuri is a space in the legendary Princess Mahsuri and located at Kampung Mawat, 12km from Kuah, it is also known as Makam Mahsuri. Many natural attractions on the island have attached tales in the style of real English and Mahsuri the legend may be the most famous.

2.00We have been on several trips like this before with driver/guide. Our driver this time was the first not acting as a guide at all. Yes, he took us to all the places and sights included, but told us almost nothing about them. The only things he pointed out on the way were shopping malls!

4.00We were on a cruise and docked at Langkawi for the day. Our tour guide was Karmel and he was reliable and punctual, with our names on show for pick up. We did have to walk the length of the pier and go to the World Resort Hotel entrance to be picked up. The day was interesting and the minibus was comfortable.
