When the trek that you are going to do is absolute and definite, all you have to do is book it immediately. This is what the Langtang Valley Trek is all about. This trek has no obstruction until the natural disaster takes place. But the best thing about it is it takes place near Kathmandu, the place where you have landed for the first time in Nepal. You start this trek on time, and you also finish this trek on time. And what you see from the starting time to the finishing time is the valley of glaciers, mountains covered with snow, and various types of flowers, such as white daisies, purple foxgloves, yellow snapdragons, and rhododendrons.
Langtang Valley Trek corresponds with this by showcasing the breath-taking and stunning view of mountains which ascend more than 7000 m, and these mountains include Langtang Lirung (7227 m) and Ganesh Himal (7422 m). Another mountain that you see is Dorje Lakpa (6966 m).

Welcome to the capital city-Kathmandu of Nepal. The company representative will meet you at the airport terminal and drop you to the hotel. You will be informed about your trip from the company staff.
Drive Kathmandu – Shyaphrubesi (1460m) Duration: 7-8 hours

Today we start our drive to Shyaphrubesi from where we start our trek. Approximately it took 6- 7 hours to reach. On the way, you will see beautiful villages, landscapes, Trishuli rivers, and small towns on the hill.

Langtang Valley Trek
After our breakfast today we start our first-day trek ascending and descending through the oak and rhododendron forests. Some hours of trekking we reach a bridge over Langtang Khola (small river), then we ascend a steep trail that leads you to the Lama Hotel. Lama Hotel is quite popular in this trekking region. Overnight we stay over here.
Trek to Mundu (Beyond Langtang Village) (3543m) Duration: 6- 7 hours

Langtang Valley Trek
We continue our trekking from Lama Hotel after having breakfast. On the trekking trail, you will see uncountable waterfalls, enjoy the beautiful Himalayan range. After walking some hours, we will reach a green meadow which is named as Ghoda Tabela. We can see the snowcapped mountains from here. Passing through the temporary settlement used by herders encounters a Buddhist monastery before we enter Langtang Valley. Langtang Valley was hit by the earthquake in 2015. Now, most of the houses were rebuilt. Half an hour's walk will lead us to Mundu village.
Trek to Kyanjin Gumba (3870m) Duration: 4 hours

Kyanjin Gompa
From Mundu we will trek to Kyanjin Gumba passing yak pastures, crossing several small streams and moraines. The trekking trails lead us to the Kyanjin Gumba where you will see the old monastery and a Kyanjin Cheese factory.
Rest Day: Explore Tserko Ri (4984m) Duration: 5-6 Hours

Today you can take a rest or hike to Tserko Ri. You can visit the outskirts of Kyanjin valley, the monastery.

Today after our breakfast we start descending passing beautiful villages, Tamang people, and the Himalayan ranges. Overnight at Lama Hotel.

5.00Langtang valley Trek was beautiful. Our guide Sudeep and porter Dinas were brilliant. The Tibetan people running the tea houses were so welcoming and happy despite living very hard lives . The whole trek was truly inspiring. We then visited Chiwan national park where we were exceptionally lucky to see not only rhino and rare gharial crocodiles but 2 sloth bear and a tiger! We finished our trip white water rafting on the Trishuli river and spending a few nights exploring the Kathmandu valley. Thank you to John at Travel Max Guide for his flexibility in organising this memorable family adventure.

5.00Outstanding trip, had a great service prior to my trip from Zon , lovely guide/ Porter. Given a free day tour as I arrived a day early. Felt safe in the mountains as a solo traveller. A cake balloons for my birthday while on the hike. Amazing. Lovely farewell dinner and trophy. Would definitely book again.
