Good tour which cuts out the hassle of getting around the volcano yourself. Traffic and queuing are difficult for cars and the coach just sales through. The second part of the coach tour through the lava fields is excellent although it would have been nice to stop and get out to take photo's. Bit pushy on the tips side by the guide and definitely a bit schoolmistressey about the rules on food , timings, etc, One final point is the time taken to pick up and collect people. We were 1 hour and 20 minutes sat on the bus collecting people before it set off for the park and another 25 minutes on the drop off coming back. In truth we probably only had 3 hours on the tour.

We were picked up at 0930, arrived in the park around 10.15. There is a decent amount of time on the coach itself but this is intentional through the coach only route through the park. The opportunities to get out of the coach include the camel ride, inside Timanfaya where there are some short demonstrations then again at a Vineyard. We found it a nice break from the hotel/strip area and a decent half day spent. The driver was excellent navigating through the tight volcanic routes and the scenery was genuinely impressive and interesting for the kids. We were only in Lanzarote for a few days so this format worked really well.

It was a very nice excursion. Highly recommended! Nice guide too, with nice short stops. Long enough for children aged 6 and 9z

We had a great trip to Timanfaya today. We had a camel ride on the way there which was optional but great fun for 11€. Our guide was Michael and he had a great sense of humour making us laugh throughout and was very informative. The driver Luciano was a great driver and was particularly skilled in the narrow roads through the craters. We had a short stop at the winery on the way back which was also nice.Really enjoyable and great value trip!

The volcano journey is mostly on the coach so you are unable to get out and take photos so have to resort to taking photos through the coach windows which is terrible with the glare of the sun.

The tour guide and the bus driver were a well-rehearsed team. As a bus tour we got faster access to Timanfaya

Great tour guide and driver, amazing (extra charge) camel ride and unreal tour through volcano area. Only downside long time on coach as we were first pick up. Also not long at places to stop, explore any extra info.

Solo traveller wanting to do something different . Communication was good from confirming booking to on the day instructions from Michael our host. Pick up from my hotel was prompt. Bus comfortable and clean with a skilled driver Tony. Camel rides for some but not me , I was happy to observe , same with the wine tasting , I visited the adjoining shop instead . Visit to the volcano park was good including the experiments , photo opportunities and drive about was just the correct length with recorded commentary in addition to our guides insights. The drop offs of other passengers on the way home was longer than I expected but within the time frame advised- by the time my hotel appeared I was keen to get off and enjoy some of the sun. Great experience if you’ve not done before like me and no awkwardness as a solo traveller . Frequent toilet stops and cafes at the relevant points , I brought my own water and snacks.

When we had booked it decided to rain heavily the whole morning, whilst that was unavoidable and because of that the crater tour part of it was cancelled. Also, on the other parts of the tour when we left the bus, everyone got wet, as expected, but after repeated requests to turn off air conditioning on the bus it would only be turned off for 5 minutes and then back on. As mentioned previously it was raining and with that it wasn’t the hottest of days so getting back into an air conditioned bus was very cold. There was also no partial refund for the missed part of the tour. If the weather hadn’t been so bad it would have been a good event and well worth the money but the rain and the failure to think of the consequences of the weather turned it into a disaster.

A very informative and interesting tour. Our guide Michael was very knowledgeable and clearly loves his job and this island. Shout out too to our driver Tony who did a fantastic job. Thank you both for looking after us
