We had a great trip to Timanfaya today. We had a camel ride on the way there which was optional but great fun for 11€. Our guide was Michael and he had a great sense of humour making us laugh throughout and was very informative. The driver Luciano was a great driver and was particularly skilled in the narrow roads through the craters. We had a short stop at the winery on the way back which was also nice.Really enjoyable and great value trip!

The volcano journey is mostly on the coach so you are unable to get out and take photos so have to resort to taking photos through the coach windows which is terrible with the glare of the sun.

The tour guide and the bus driver were a well-rehearsed team. As a bus tour we got faster access to Timanfaya

Great tour guide and driver, amazing (extra charge) camel ride and unreal tour through volcano area. Only downside long time on coach as we were first pick up. Also not long at places to stop, explore any extra info.

Solo traveller wanting to do something different . Communication was good from confirming booking to on the day instructions from Michael our host. Pick up from my hotel was prompt. Bus comfortable and clean with a skilled driver Tony. Camel rides for some but not me , I was happy to observe , same with the wine tasting , I visited the adjoining shop instead . Visit to the volcano park was good including the experiments , photo opportunities and drive about was just the correct length with recorded commentary in addition to our guides insights. The drop offs of other passengers on the way home was longer than I expected but within the time frame advised- by the time my hotel appeared I was keen to get off and enjoy some of the sun. Great experience if you’ve not done before like me and no awkwardness as a solo traveller . Frequent toilet stops and cafes at the relevant points , I brought my own water and snacks.

When we had booked it decided to rain heavily the whole morning, whilst that was unavoidable and because of that the crater tour part of it was cancelled. Also, on the other parts of the tour when we left the bus, everyone got wet, as expected, but after repeated requests to turn off air conditioning on the bus it would only be turned off for 5 minutes and then back on. As mentioned previously it was raining and with that it wasn’t the hottest of days so getting back into an air conditioned bus was very cold. There was also no partial refund for the missed part of the tour. If the weather hadn’t been so bad it would have been a good event and well worth the money but the rain and the failure to think of the consequences of the weather turned it into a disaster.

A very informative and interesting tour. Our guide Michael was very knowledgeable and clearly loves his job and this island. Shout out too to our driver Tony who did a fantastic job. Thank you both for looking after us

We’ve done this trip twice now and thought after being told it was unusual to have so many pick-ups and drop offs we tried again. It was exactly the same, we were staying in Costa Teguise and were the second pick up at 8.50am and then spent 90 mins driving around and stopping picking people up around Costa Teguise and Puerto Del Carmen. We then stopped for the camel ride which we didn’t do this time but you get a chance to ride a camel. Finally another 20mins later we are in Timanfaya which was the next stop on this short tour. This is an amazing place and just has to be seen, the natural scenes from the volcano. This is great and you get to see how the heat comes from the ground. After this you then head to a vineyard and you get a really small wine sample, last time we got to walk around the vineyard but this time we didn’t, it was just an opportunity to sample and purchase wine. We then had to endure another round of drop offs in Puerto Del Carmen before finally getting back to our hotel. They really should limit the pick ups and drop offs for this tour as all you get is a tour of all the hotels of the Island. If we ever do a tour like this again we will just hire a car and drive ourselves.

Very nice guide. Good care from the hotel. Interesting getaway. Especially since we can't do it individually
