This combined husky and reindeer package is specially designed for those who would like to get the most of Lapland in a short period of time.

First, you will be taken to a reindeer farm for a short visit and a sledge safari. You have the opportunity to enjoy a reindeer sledge ride observing the wonderful winter's nature. After a ride you will be warmed up in traditional kota, drinking hot berry juice and listening to stories of northern reindeer.

After visiting the reindeer, you will visit the home of the wonderful huskys where you will learn all about them, hug and pet them. After a safety briefing and instructions, enjoy the excitement of riding a husky-pulled sled.

Then, hop onto your coach or minibus for drop-off back to Levi, where your tour ends.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels

Due to the weather conditions (lack of the snow coat) in the beginning of the season (01.11 - 01.12) the farm may not be able to put the sledge on the reindeers/huskies, since it may damage their paws

Please dress warmly in winter layers for this activity

All animals used for these services are trained as much as possible for the activity, however, the behavior of animals can be unpredictable and therefore it is essential that all participants follow all given instructions for their safety, and the safety of others

Was a very nice experience even if it was -30 crad, so always dress very warm. From the rider to everyone who had something to do with the tour, everyone was very friendly helpful and tell a lot

An exceptional morning from pick-up to our return to the hotel. Despite the lack of snow we had a great time with the husky. We were still able to ride "sled" on wheels and it was a good time. Nevertheless, the landscapes remain magnificent. The dogs are adorable, as is the breeder who welcomed us. We enjoyed the moment in the Kota. Regarding reindeer, we were welcomed by very warm breeders. We were able to feed them, take pictures, do a "lasso hunting" workshop on reindeer antlers. We were also able to taste the typical cheese and berry drinks which are excellent. The driver/guide who accompanied us during this morning was very kind and even gave us a spot to find the Northern Lights. We recommend!

We didn’t know what to expect and the description does not do it justice. We were blown away by how amazing this experience was. First, we were picked up and driven to the dog sled farm by private transportation. Then we drove our own sleds! I had a sled with 2 kids and my husband had a sled with 2 kids. It was exhilarating! The dogs are very well looked after. The employees know every one by name and which dogs have siblings at that farm. Next, we were driven to a reindeer farm. 2 people to a sled this time. The reindeer pulled us around a path on a frozen lake. We fed the reindeer. Then went to a Kota to warm up and learn about the Sami people and culture. We loved this experience! The kids loved it! We all had an amazing day!

The visit to the huskies themselves was very nice. Beautiful animals, which were well cared for. The sleigh ride was a particularly fun experience. Especially riding the sled yourself!

Where to begin?! This was a perfectly organised experience where we had the opportunity to both ride and drive husky-led sleds before meeting dozens of beautiful and friendly dogs. Following this, it was a ~20mn drive to the reindeer farm, where we shared a sled between 2 of us and were pulled by a reindeer around a frozen lake. We were then lucky enough to spend some time with a Saami woman who shared elements of her culture - including folk songs and traditional dress - with us. These were a fantastic few hours and I could not recommend them more.

This was an incredible experience, especially doing both activities in one! Max was an excellent guide, very comfortable transportation and service and helped capture in photos too. Both locations were more local run and incorporated the heritage of Sami culture and animals all very sweet. Thank you for this wonderful day!

A wonderful experience with the Huskies, loved every minute but the ride was quite short for the money paid. The reindeer slay ride was also very good, the Sami guid gave a talk & sang her Sami song for the group
