This combined husky and reindeer package is specially designed for those who would like to get the most of Lapland in a short period of time.
First, you will be taken to a reindeer farm for a short visit and a sledge safari. You have the opportunity to enjoy a reindeer sledge ride observing the wonderful winter's nature. After a ride you will be warmed up in traditional kota, drinking hot berry juice and listening to stories of northern reindeer.
After visiting the reindeer, you will visit the home of the wonderful huskys where you will learn all about them, hug and pet them. After a safety briefing and instructions, enjoy the excitement of riding a husky-pulled sled.
Then, hop onto your coach or minibus for drop-off back to Levi, where your tour ends.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Due to the weather conditions (lack of the snow coat) in the beginning of the season (01.11 - 01.12) the farm may not be able to put the sledge on the reindeers/huskies, since it may damage their paws
Please dress warmly in winter layers for this activity
All animals used for these services are trained as much as possible for the activity, however, the behavior of animals can be unpredictable and therefore it is essential that all participants follow all given instructions for their safety, and the safety of others

3.00The overall experience was great and all the people involved were very friendly. However, the distance between the husky safari and the reindeer farm was a bit too far. This reduced the time we actually got to spend with the animals. Also 2km husky safari and 1km reindeer tour is a bit short, and it felt a bit too rushed.

5.00Really beautiful experience! Although we caught the coldest day, it was all wonderful. The gentleman who picked us up by car was super nice and helpful, making us feel immediately at ease. The people who accompanied us for the husky sledding experience were really cute. We rode the sleigh and it was a unique emotion, something indescribable. They showed us where dogs live, explaining how they are cared for, their age and many other curiosities. You can feel the attention and love they have for them. In the end they let us into a room with the fire burning and offered us a hot drink and cookies: a really pleasant and much appreciated moment. Super recommended experience! ❄️🐾

5.00The husky ride was a fun and fast one. It was a great experience getting to know all the different dogs and their personalities. The tourguide was also really kind. The busdriver who was also the guide for the reindeerfarm had a a lot of great story’s to tell. The reindeer ride was a way more calm ride. I’ve learned to not underestimate reindeers, they are strong and fast!

3.00Excursion was cancelled because of extreme temperaturs. This part I was more than happy with as I am glad they and looking out for the animals and people taking parts safety. They also communicated this well. However, after them community options they where rather slow at getting back which meant there was no more space in the days that they suggested by the time they replied. I did receive a full refund back which I appreciate but believe they could do better with getting back to those who's have been cancelled.

4.00Guide was 5 stars. Great activities. Unable to have the huskies just run because of a too cautious person who happened to get the led sled. If you are unsure do the group a favor and take a rear sled. All else was 5 stars.
