Very nice! A perfekt way to experience the Rīga Central Market. The guide (Guna) was enthusiastic, friendly and easy going. We would not have known what to taste without her. The duration (2 h) was perfect, enough but not too long.

Guna was an amazing guide! There was a great variety of food tastings and I learnt a lot about Latvian food and traditions. The champagne was also a nice touch. A must do!

Walked to the Riga Central Markets, for the Walking and Tasting Tour. Plenty to see, view, taste, and, experience. This Tour is a must-do Tour, to enjoy the staple fare of Latvians. After the Tour finishes, do yourself a favour, and, do your own shopping at these Markets. Lovely and informative Tour Guide Goona (?), she had us trying assorted fare, well worth the experience. I will say, the walk to the Markets from the Tour meeting point felt like a foot-race, and, Goona set a cracking pace, which, I opine, was not a prudent move, as the group consisted of elder persons, and, the streets are all cobbled, which are trip hazards. At the Markets, the pace was very much reduced. Regardless, Goona was an excellent Guide, lovely and informative. DO THIS TOUR!

A bit chaotic at first with a guide calling out suck. Another arrived shortly and the tour was good.

This was a great experience as far as food tours go. There was much less walking and much eating than on others I had been on. Being in the central market was great - I probably would have never tried the food there without this tour. The guide was fantastic - she was so enthusiastic about everything and really wanted to share her culture with us. The size of the tour was also very good. The most exotic food was dried pig snout if you're worried about not being able to eat some dishes (the snout was so delicious btw). Would recommend.

We had a great 2.5 hour tour of the central market. What an incredible historic space! We were offered samples of chicken, fish, traditional pea dishes, picked vegetables, and sweets. Sampling was very well organised and sanitary. Even though we were part of a large group, 21 people, the guide kept the group together, and shared lots of interesting information about Latvian culinary traditions, as well as tips about where to buy food items and restaurants to try. An excellent introduction to Latvian cuisine!
