5.00Hiked Le Morne with Letitia. We started the hike at 4.30am in order to be able to reach the summit at sunrise. Letitia was great company and very knowledgeable. She paced the hike well, and was extremely safety conscious. Highly recommended.

5.00Le Morne Brabant (556 m) is a famous landmark on Mauritius and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The mountain was in the 18th and early 19th centuries. It was a refuge for fleeing slaves in the 19th century and is now considered a symbol of their struggle for freedom. The popular hike with a guide lasted around four hours, starting with a well-accessible trail accompanied by fantastic views. But the last piece had it all: There we had to really climb and work our way up over steep rocks. Once at the top we were rewarded with an overwhelming view. Climbing this mountain was already my dream at home and I am proud that we made it:-).

5.00Great adventure, Stephano was a great guide, very knowledgeable and welcoming. The climb is challenging in places and he was so patient assisting us when needed to find the easiest route when needed. You can climb on your own but it is not recommended for children under 13 and I would 100% recommend a guide

He was a perfect guide who knows this mountain very well and he was very considerate, good-mannered and has deep knowledge about ecosystem of the mountain and nature. Le morne was soo beautiful and all the hiking was so happy and fun, comfortable. Let’s meet vik in 10 years
