We will meet in Piazza Duomo, the main square of Amalfi.
In the first part of the experience, I will test your knowledge about limoncello.
Once all doubts have been clarified, especially on the choice of alcohol and the recognition of a quality liqueur, I will explain the maceration, production and bottling process in detail. Later, I will show you how to taste it and at what temperature to serve it. After the initial tasting, a short historical paragraph will follow which will explain the origins of the famous "Amalfi gold".
Next, you will personally experience the production of my grandparents' original recipe. Finally, I will reveal some tips for your future experiences at home!

What To Expect
Full Limoncello Making Experience (Max 6 people) Meet at Antichi Sapori d’Amalfi, home to the only limoncello factory in the historic center of Amalfi. Enjoy a guided visit inside an old family-run factory and learn about the history and traditions of limoncello. Together with your instructor, you will actively prepare limoncello, learning how it is produced in a strictly artisanal way, following a method passed down through three generations. You will understand every step of the process so you can recreate it at home. Learn how to recognize a high-quality artisanal limoncello, including the type of alcohol used and how to properly taste and serve it. Sample different limoncello varieties and put your knowledge into practice. End the experience with tastings paired with lemon cake, biscuits, and local sweets. 5.00Our host Vittorio was incredible! It was so fun to learn about the history of limoncello making, tasting his amazing creations and try our hand at making some. The shop is family run and Vittorio's passion for the craft and history of limoncello are what make this experience truly special. 5.00The proprietor, was passionate about his craft and the class went very fast (too fast) as we were enjoying it so much. We learned a lot and now I find myself checking bottles of limoncello where ever i go now. The class was fun, informative and he even shared his wife’s amazing lemon cake recipe as well as his grandfather’s original limoncello recipe. This turned out to be just a wonderful experience.

5.00What an experience, so fun, so personal, the knowledge & love in this family for Limoncello is the best bar none. What makes this tour stand out over any other tour we've done is, you get to put the apron on (lemon themed apron of course) roll your sleeves up and get peeling & then add those peels to a new batch. P.S the homemade lemon cake is OOTW!!! I genuinely can't recommend this tour enough!!! Perfetto 🫶🏻

Host and his family were just happy and excited to open their doors and teach us all about limoncello and the history of what it means to Amalfi. The last of the family stores and authentic limoncello places left in the area. Fun and educational!

5.00What an Awesome experience 3rd generation of limoncello maker. He explained that there or only 3 ingredients in the real thing. It's a hand on experience you get to help make a batch. He also makes other kinds tangerine, strawberry. He passion for his cra ft is amazing. Do yourself a favor and book this experience.

5.00We were on a tour to theamalfi coast and had the good fortune to visit this shop we learned how to make limoncello (with real amalfi lemons!) and tasted several products. The staff is wonderful and the shop lovely. We all carried back their products

5.00Vittorio and Clara are among a dwindling generation of authentic, wholesome producers of limoncello in the area. They invited us in and we learned a lot about identifying & making good limoncello! Vittorio also generously allowed us to try some of the other liquors they make in-house. Overall, I couldn't imagine a better tour to book in the area as they are at the heart of what makes it special.
