Playa Conchal is arguably the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica. It sears on a 2,000 acre reserve with a desalination plant and sewer system. The efoil experience is really exhilarating. Children as young as 7 year olds and adults in their 70’s alike are thrilled to fly over water. Your time riding the board is 20 minutes with instruction and 25 minutes practice by yourself. The water is clean and the bay is calm. This efoil lesson will be one of the most extraordinary experiences you’ve had while visiting Costa Rica.

What To Expect
Come stretch on the yoga ball and do a couple worm up exercises. Then we’ll look at technology and Flying position. We will put on a floating impact vest and we’ll enter the water. I will demonstrate and you will do 5 exercises in 20 minutes. Then you practice on your own 25 minutes. Your Total board time will be 45 minutes.

5.00Now THAT was an absolute blast! we tried the e-foil for the very first time. Ages 55, 18, 16... and everybody was up and flying on our very first day. Rodrigo provided great teaching and support and our only regret was finding out about this on our very last day or we would have been back at least 2 more times! Thx Rodrigo!

5.00Not much more to say than the last review. 10 stars. You can’t go wrong trying this. From a board sport enthusiast to just being a kid looking for some fun, foiling is pretty friendly to any demographic. It is easy to cruise, the difficulty lies in flying with the board off the water consistently. It is an absolute blast and such a freeing experience. E foiling is a unique mode of transportation on the water. There isn’t much like it. The feeling is very new and if you haven’t been on a board before it might actually be easier as you have no bad habits to correct. This was my introduction to it and Rodrigo is a master level instructor. He says the right things at the right times and know what you need to hear and when you need to hear it. 100% worth an intro lesson. Even better if you get the hang of it you can take the morning tour down the south coast outside of the W hotel and check out some private beaches. There is no real estate and it makes for a great adventure. If conditions are right you can even get in some good snorkeling. As long as you don’t try to exceed your skill level on the board you won’t have any trouble safely bailing and enjoying your time on it. If you simply listen to Rodrigo you’ll be up and flying in no time!
