This experience is like stepping into the shoes of a discerning, Left Bank foodie who’s shopping for a special dinner party. From the Pantheon to Pont Neuf, we visit six renowned artisans (3 of them MOF: Meilleur Ouvrier de France), tasting the way through the magical Latin Quarter and Saint Germain des Près, while learning the stories behind every bite. The tour culminates with a private tasting, inside a historic two-masted péniche/riverboat, of cold champagne and all the products we’ve collected along the way.
This tour begins with introductions and a fresh croissant, named the best in Paris, at the breathtaking Place Sainte-Geneviève. As we stroll the historic streets, we will taste charcuterie from an artisanal butcher, a variety of cheeses from a nationally recognized fromager, chocolates from a renowned and eccentric chocolatier, macarons and pastries from a life-long pastry chef, and rare champagne from independent producers.

This breath taking square is our meeting place. We will all introduce ourselves, learning about the significance of the neighborhood, and enjoy a fresh croissant, named best in Paris.
Latin Quarter
In the first part of our tour, we will visit artisans in this magical neighborhood.

5.00I’m so happy I booked this tour — it was absolutely incredible! Max is an amazing guide: charismatic, fun, and full of fascinating stories. The whole experience felt very personal and unique, like discovering Paris through the eyes of someone who truly loves it. The tour just flew by. Every stop was a little surprise — from the best croissant to incredible cheeses, chocolates, and champagne. You can really feel the quality of every place we visited, and the stories behind the products made everything even more special. And the ending… just wow. The private tasting on the boat on the Seine was such a magical moment — relaxing, beautiful, and the perfect way to finish the tour. I enjoyed every single minute and would 100% recommend it to anyone who loves food, good vibes, and a different kind of Paris experience.

5.00Fantastic experience with Max. He is very friendly and gave us with a lot of good information regarding the provenance of the different bread, cheeses, and wine, etc tasted on the tour. He provides ample food so don’t have a large breakfast before the tour. The quality of the food is excellent. I highly recommend this food tasting tour.

5.00This tour was a very special experience. Max is a great host who captivates with knowledge and wit. We visited hidden gems that you can hardly find as a normal tourist and Max had a lot of background information about all these places. The food was great. The crowning achievement was, of course, the visit to the boat in a prime location on the Seine. All in all, it was an extraordinary experience that I would recommend to anyone with an affinity for food and Paris. P.S. You should definitely be able to speak and understand English very well, even if Max speaks fluent German in addition to English and French.
