Dunrobin Castle and Gardens
The Struie viewpoint - known to the locals as Millionaires View - over the Dornoch Firth will take your breath away. It is said that Andrew Carnegie who was a Scottish-American industrialist, business magnate, and philanthropist would bring his (Rich/famous) guests to this viewpoint which led to it being know to the locals as 'Millionaire's View'
Dornoch Cathedral
Sitting on the edge of the Dornoch Firth, the small historic town of Dornoch boasts a tranquil location, stunning scenery and sunny climate. This thriving community sits on the east coast of the north Highlands that runs from the Moray Firth up to Sutherland. It is blessed with a particularly sunny climate thanks to its sheltered position, and has miles of golden sand beaches. The beach stretches from Dornoch Point heading past Embo beach to the mouth of Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve. Adjacent to the beach is a Site of Special Scientific Interest that features nesting birds, flora and fauna. And for those keen golfers, tee-off on the Royal Dornoch championship course, ranked 13th in the world.! The coast is also a favourite with wildlife such as seals and a sizeable population of both breeding and wintering birds.

Was a good trip that gave a lot of insight to the highlands and quaint little towns. The castle is the star of the show and the gardens are spectacular. Make time to visit the Victorian museum near the gardens.

Johnny was excellent! There was a misunderstanding with the reservation, and he immediately jumped in and took me and my husband on the tour to see Dunrobin Castle. He was very enjoyable to be with, and was full of knowledge. Dunrobin Castle was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Johnny!

Absolutely love Dunrobin Castle, our driver Jonny was very friendly, pleasant and very knowledgeable. The little village Dornach and church we stopped at were very pretty and quaint.

Johnny was an excellent tour guide who catered his route to our preferences since we were the only group on board. He was kind, friendly, and a pleasure to meet. Thank you Johnny for such a memorable experience.

Outstanding tour with local driver that knew the history and the stories of the area. Depending on how many sign up for the tour you may ended up with a personal private tour as my daughter and I did. This allowed us to spend more time at the castle so we could fit in a full tour of the castle, the gardens and see the incredible falconry show- it can not be missed and other tours don't spend enough time at the castle for this to happen! Johnny was the best ;-) I have mobility issues and he worked around that

The castle and gardens were beautiful but the real highlight of the day was Andy and the falconry display. You can see how much he cares for the birds during his talk, which is funny and informative, we all absolutely loved it.
