5.00We had an incredible tour! Alex was absolutely amazing. Even the light rain for a bit at the start didn’t stop us. Alex provided umbrellas and we walked through the history of Casco Viejo as we walked through its streets. The walking was very easy and we got to see so much of the area. Alex gave us an expert narration of the history, the architecture, and the politics surrounding this important area. We toured an amazing church and Alex showed us maps and talked us through specifics about how it fit into the history. We had a nice stop in the middle for some souvenir shopping and a bottle of water before we continued on the rest of the tour. At the end we finished in front of a nice restaurant where you could refresh and refill if you wanted. I know a lot of tours combine this with the canal. We chose to just take an uber to the miraflores visitor center and that worked great to experience that without rushing. It then allowed us to spend this dedicated time on Casco Viejo. I looked at a LOT of tours before booking this one and I’m so glad I did. The operator was fantastic in their communication as we had a couple hiccups with our plans. I would 20 out of 10 recommend this tour if you’re looking to discover more about Panama history.
