The waters around the North-eastern islands are buzzing with a different kind of charm – seamen fishing, an abundance of nature, mangrove swamps and the idyllic life of residents who live in kelongs. All these are sights that normal city dwellers do not get to experience. We will also take you up close to Pulau Ubin (the only inhabited island out of Singapore’s 63 islands) and explore it from the sea. You will be surprised to discover that the habitats surrounding this rustic island are brimming with life! Topping off the intriguing boat tour would be a visit to a kelong-restaurant, where you get to experience life on a floating fish farm.

Learn about our neighbouring port and how it got its name. We will make a brief stop to understand the the 2 ports in Pasir Gudang and learn how close Singapore is to the Malaysia waters.
Pulau Ubin
We will be cruising down the length of Pulau Ubin. Get to see a mangrove swamp up close as well as an abandoned resort. Learn about the Kelongs and what they do. Understand the concept of sustainable Fish Farming and its struggles. Get on board on a one of a kind on water restaurant. Relax to the cool sea breeze and astonishing views. Play old school games like Carrom or Jenga. Try your hand at fishing (sure catch). Extra charges apply for this activity. Get up close to a $4 Mil High Tech Fish Farm on the sea. Visit one of the closest banks between Singapore and Malaysia.

5.00I did Let's Go Kelong Boat Tour Singapore this morning-afternoon. Robin was a knowledgeable guide and was able to share with us many interesting facts about things off Singapore's Northern waters. It was an eye-opener even for a local. The seafood served by the Kelong was also fresh and tasty.

5.00Robin is very knowledgeable about the Straits of Johor. He was able to furnish us with little known facts that as a Singaporean, I hardly knew. He also brought us to a kelong where we had a very good seafood meal. The entire trip was just a very relaxing trip where we learned from Robin and simply just to spend some quality time out at sea with friends. This trip is highly recommended.

5.00Loved this tour. Captain Robin was amazing and I learnt so much more about Singapore’s Kelong history. The evening weather was perfect, the boat was a blast, and all three generations of the family enjoyed the experience (including my 2 year old toddler). Highly recommend for a leisurely boat tour of the northern part of Singapore and away from the city bustle. 100% will do again.

4.00Had an amazing morning Kelong Tour with Captain Robin. The ride took us past fishermen’s boats, traditional kelongs off Pulau Ubin, and even migratory birds along the way. We ended at a floating restaurant with its own fish farm — just a drink for us, so sadly unable to taste the fresh seafood meal. Still, it was a really unique and memorable experience.

5.00This was such a good morning out on the straits between Singapore and Malaysia. Captain Robin is enthusiastic about the area and this comes through in his informative tour of the kelongs and other points of interest as his small boat motored past the conservation island Palau Ubin. The fishing catch from kelongs is no longer very worthwhile due to overfishing everywhere, so these structures and the way of life will eventually disappear. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour for the interesting information Robin shared, being out on sea-water, and the great viewpoints from the boat. This was far more enjoyable than being surrounded by the glitz and luxury shops of Singapore CBD. Highly recommended!

5.00The tour took us on an amazing ride out on the backyard of singapore,to the waters between singapore and JB.. Setting off in the morning,we saw fisherman bringing in their catches,kelongs and beautiful migratory birds. Our guide,Robin was knowledgeable,we learnt so many fun things we never knew before. Lunch at smith marine floating restaurant was delicious, with seabass reared at the kelong. Would reco as a great tour for team building,friends,family or anyone wanting a unique experience out on the sea!

5.00Despite being just, a little red dot in the World Map, there is still always something new to discover or experience in Singapore. It would not have been possible on 21 June if it were not for Captain Robin, our guide from Let's Go Kelong. With his 30 years plus experience in the seas and his passion for fishing, Robin has generously imparted his knowledge to our family of 7 pax, for a 3-hour boat tour, visiting the Kelong in the Singapore waters, in which possibly only 3 are left by now. We were also shown the boat houses around Pulau Ubin, in which some remaining locals are still living. What better way to spend as a family in celebration of my hubby's 58th birthday than to having a new experience and expanding our knowledge? Thank you, Captain Robin, for making it a memorable time for our family.

5.00This tour definitely gives you a different look at Singapore life, like you're going back in time. It really opens your eyes to small businesses here that are disappearing – seriously, go see it before it's too late! And Robin was great at explaining other things too, like what businesses are key in Singapore today in age, interesting maritime and immigration facts, and a whole lot more. A fantastic way to spend a morning!
