What sets this tour apart is the way the story is told. It’s not just about communism as a system, but about how it felt to live it. I share real stories of fear, silence, and survival, told through everyday life and not rehearsed facts. My goal is to share this story leaving the trevelers not only informed, but emotionally connected with a deeper understanding of Albania and its people.

Albiona was a truly wonderful guide. We were interested in the history of the dictatorship and its effects on the people. She was knowledgeable and interesting when showing us the important sites and then giving a clear commentary of how it had its beginning and eventual downfall. The tour ended on a relaxing drink in a historic cafe/gathering spot. Recommend to all interested in Albania Communist era.
