Discover the authentic tastes of Lima on this gastronomic experience through the Historic Center. During this tour of approximately 3 hours and a half we will walk through emblematic places such as St. Martin's Square, the Central Market and the traditional Chinese Quarter. Travelers will know local ingredients, taste typical Peruvian food and enjoy a taste of the famous Pisco Sour. As we walk along historic streets such as the Jirón de la Unión, the guide will share stories about the city’s culture, gastronomy and history. The tour ends near the Plaza de Armas in Lima, the historic heart of the Peruvian capital.

What To Expect
Plaza San Martin
Start of the tour at the historic Gran Hotel Bolivar, located in Plaza San Martin. Here the guide will give a brief introduction on the history of the Lima Center and Peruvian gastronomy before starting the gastronomic experience.
Jiron de La Union
Walk along the most traditional street in the center, history and gastronomic stops.

5.00I had a great time on this food tour with JD. We tried some amazing local food and visited places I would never have found by myself. Everything felt very authentic, and I learned a lot about Lima and Peruvian culture. Definitely recommend it!

5.00It was a really nice and authentic experience. We went to the historic center and Chinatown and the local market where they selling fruits, vegetables, fish and meat. We have tasted some typical food such as choclo con queso, ceviche, papá rellena and picarones. Diego also explained as the places we went and the history behind them. It was a very nice experience and we had a lot of fun.

5.00I absolutely loved this food tour! The fruit tasting was something I didn’t expect and it ended up being my favorite part. I tried many new fruits, all fresh and delicious food. The guide was very friendly and explained everything really well. Definitely a unique experience and highly recommended.
