The city tour in Lima with Diego was outstanding. He knows an impressive amount about his city and its history. One of his insider tips we especially loved was the Casa de Aliaga, a truly fascinating place. We also discovered a lot on the culinary side — including Churros San Francisco, where you can find the best churros in the city. We can warmly recommend Diego and are already looking forward to booking a tour with him again on our next visit to Lima.

Juan Diego's tour was interesting and exciting--showing the local highlights of Lima history, culture, and cuisine. The catacombs were especially unique. He was well-prepared to discuss topics as varied as politics, architecture, geography, natural history, and where to get the best pisco sour.

I made the city tour through the centre of Lima with a visit to the catacombs and, frankly, exceeded my expectations. The guide knew a lot, but it wasn’t that kind of heavy explanation, it was pretty light and interesting. I liked that it was not just dates, he also talked about how life is in Lima today. The part of the catacombs was the most impressive, something you need to see at least once. Everything was well organized, we started on schedule and the group was not very large, so we could listen well and ask questions. Overall, you can see that it is a well thought out tour, made for you to really enjoy the experience. I recommend it, especially if it is your first time in Lima or if you want to better understand the history of the city.
