The Lingering Garden
In Suzhou’s Lingering Garden (Liuyuan), travelers can explore a classic Chinese garden divided into four distinct zones: the central area features a serene pond surrounded by pavilions, while the eastern part showcases rare stones like the Exquisite Jade Rock. The western zone is lined with maple trees that turn vibrant red in autumn, and the northern area offers bamboo and pine groves with a pastoral feel. The elegant architecture, such as the intricately carved Five Peaks Hall and the 700+ meters of winding corridors with intricate windows, is truly attractive. Entry is easy if you book the tickets in advance. Only show QR code at the entrance. Opening Hours: Mar 01- Oct 31: 07:30 - 17:30; Last Entry: 17:00 Nov 01 - Feb 28/29: 07:30 - 16:30; Last Entry: 16:00 During the periods of Qingming Festival, May Day, Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, the park's closing time will be postponed by half an hour and it will close at 18:00.
