5.00This day tour was a highlight of our trip to Ljubljana. Others on our tour visited the caves, but we chose the horse farm. If you love horses, I highly recommend. We had a great tour of the property and learned a lot about the history of the breed. Piran was breathtaking. It was a clear day, and we could see Croatia and Venice across the sea. The town is very small, so we felt we had plenty of time to have lunch and still see a lot. The drive through the countryside was just beautiful. Our guide, Tibor, was one of the best guides we’ve ever had. He made the day so fun with his personality and sense of humor. It’s obvious that he loves his country and meeting people. He was very informative and made us feel very welcome. Thank you, Tibor!

5.00If the words "Lipizzaner" and "Spanish Riding School" resonate with you, you have to take the Lipica tour. Piran is totally unconnected to Lipica, other than being geographically convenient, but it's worth the trip. A Venetian port city, it's got architecture, seaside ambiance, and a lot of history. Don't miss the Maritime museum.

5.00Our guide Čiga was extremely friendly, open-minded, narrating and motivated to show us his country and to convey special features about it. High praise for so much good mood, flexibility and empathy for the group. The day was great!! Despite immense traffic jams on the way back from Piran, Čiga remained calm and sweetened our time with jokes and anecdotes. Warmest recommendation!

5.00Anna was an excellent tour guide. She was very informational and included some fun anecdotes about her family and growing up in Slovenia. She used a microphone in the car to ensure that everyone could hear her. We drove to Piran and had a lot of time to enjoy the sites, do olive oil tasting, shop and have lunch and then off to the Lipica Stud Farm. We were lucky because they have a show at the farm every second Sunday of the month so we go to enjoy the show and a tour. It was a wonderful day trip from Ljubljana.

5.00Enjoyed touring the Lipica stud farm and beautiful Piran as well. The beauty of Slovenia's various regions are hard to describe. We were most fortunate to have Vasco as our guide for the day, who provided us with much history along the route. One of the highlights was the lunch he suggested for us at a charming restaurant in Lokev, where we were able to experience an authentic Slovenian meal that we will not soon forget.

4.00From my point of view the visit to the Lipica ranch is not worth it, 18 euros to see 4 horses in the stable. However the visit to Piran did meet my expectations. Roko was an excellent and punctual Guide.

5.00A fantastic tour! Our guide (Rok) was lovely and had great information to share. Went to the Lipica Stud Farm (1 of 2 options to start the day) which was beautiful even in the rain. Piran was a beautiful city with an even more beautiful sea. Highly recommend; a great way to spend a day and worth the money!
