Our journey start at the charming Praça do Comercio: stroll and relax in one of Europe’s most historic "Café restaurante", established in 1782! Taste distinct Portuguese wines from various regions—six in total along our tour (enough to keep the happiness up!)—paired with 11 delicious petiscos. No need for dinner afterward, I guarantee it!
Admire its monuments, embrace the Fado heritage, marvel at the unique azulejos, wander through enchanting alleyways and discover a traditional "tasca" (family-run tavern) that will thrill your taste buds!
I want you to feel like a local, experiencing traditional food, authentic wines touching the art, culture, meeting with the people of the place, and of course... having a lot of fun!

What To Expect
Praca do Comercio
Our first tasting session takes place at the ancient "Terreiro do Paço", where we find the oldest and most famous literary café in the capital, Martinho da Arcada (1782).
Arco de Jesus
Continuing your exploration along Rua da Alfandega and the Largo do Chafariz de Dentro, you will be able to breathe and relive the old city with its monuments, stories, and alleyways in one of Portugal's most authentic neighborhoods.

5.00Rico delivered an amazing enogastronomic experience!! We tasted authentic traditional dishes, enjoyed excellent portoguese wines (the Porto Quinta do Noval Tawny was outstanding) and learned so much thanks to his impressive cultural and historical knowledge. Fun, engaging, and truly genuine, an unforgettable way to discover the real Lisbon. Very recommended!! :)

5.00Rico was a fantastic host, we had the most amazing evening tasting great food & great wine. The second venue in particular was a perfect setting to see the night in and eat/drink whilst learning all about the history of wine. Rico spoke good English and could understand everything and would thoroughly recommend this to anyone, friends, family, business trip, etc. - no caps on amount of wine, port, food, etc. - honestly could not fault the experience at all.

5.00I highly recommend Rico's food and wine tour. My husband and I got to experience food that we would not have tried otherwise because of Rico's knowledge of the best of the local food products, and the wine pairings were all perfect. He was very informative about the local history of Lisbon as a whole and Alfama in particular. We ended up the evening watching a Fado performance and having a glass of Ginja and dessert. Rio was very generous with his time, and it was like being out for an evening with a friend. He was also very considerate of our dietary requests. Don't miss this tour if you're spending any time in Lisbon!

5.00I had such a great experience and felt so privileged to have a wine tour with an actual wine maker. Enrico is so talented and knowledgeable. He’s also very kind and patient. I would love to do more of his tours and would absolutely recommend this food and wine tour.

5.00We had a wonderful evening with Rico! He shared some wines that he made himself! The dishes they were paired with were amazing. It was so interesting to see how the wine enhanced or changed the flavor of the food we shared. We had a nice walk through Lisbon to taste a few wines and have some amazing food. We started as strangers and left as family.

5.00Being on a 3 months holiday through Europe, this tour will be one of the highlights, Enrico passion for wine is only matched by his passion for Portugal and food. Amazing wine and the venues were magical. Being French I thought I knew wine and wine making, but Enrico proved I am only a novice. This is the only wine and food tour you need to do in Lisbon.. The tour went over by over an hour, within 10 minutes being on the tour , you felt like you were going out with a friend. Thank you Enrico, it’s young men like you that gives me hope of our new generation.
