Litchfield Escapes is Territory owned and operated. Experienced local tour guides. Wildlife and Jumping Croc cruise which is a private boat cruise for our passengers only. Our tour departs from 0545am to 06.00am so we are the only ones on the river at this time of the morning. Full commentary on Darwin and Litchfield Park. Also visiting Wangi, Florence and Buley Rock holes. Enjoy a swim in each of these beautiful natural fed spring water falls. Visit Magnetic and cathedral termite mounds. Snacks and a healthy lunch included. Dietary requirements are catered for. Plenty of water provided. On this tour you are guaranteed to see the very best of Litchfield Park and your private croc cruise.

5.00An awesome day out! Damo, our driver and tour guide was very informative and well organized. He also did the Jumping Crocodile cruise and knew much about them and introduced us to the Brutus, the oldest and Dominator the biggest croc. Lunch was great, plenty to eat. A lot of fun was had. Absolutely recommend it!

5.00Great day out in the NT outback. Jumping crocs were amazing and the Litchfield National Park and pools stunning. Damo provided a lot of information about the area and history. Hotel pick up and drop off was very convenient. Highly recommended full day out.

5.00Prepare for a long but awesome day! Damo (our guide) was just great…funny and knowledgeable. We only had a day in Darwin and so glad we chose to do this experience. Spending the day with the crocs and wild swimming in some of the most spectacular waterfalls is an experience of a lifetime and this company made the trip seamless and perfect! The food was great too.

5.00Daz our driver and tour guide was amazing from 1st pickup, us at 5.45am, to last drop off. Crocodile tour was second to none. Wildlife spotting Buffalo, Brolga, all things hopping, wild horses, an incredible number of birds. Waterfalls and swimming holes were a welcome cool interlude. Lunch was a picnic spread and plenty of snacks between. Fantastic day.
Dame’o is a real Aussie legend — Crocodile Dundee vibes, local knowledge & no BS.

5.00If you want a real Top End experience, book with Dame’o from Litchfield Escapes. The bloke is a genuine Aussie character — a bit like Crocodile Dundee — with more knowledge about the Territory than most people could learn in a lifetime. You don’t even need to ask questions because he’s already telling you the history, stories, and local insights before you think of them. No political correctness, no scripted tourist rubbish — just honest, entertaining, real-world commentary and a bloody good tour. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and knows the area inside out. If you want polished corporate tourism, this probably isn’t for you. But if you want authenticity, laughs, knowledge, and a proper Territory experience, Dame’o is your man.
