Damo ran an informative and fun day trip to Litchfield NP. Day started with a crocodile cruise on the Adelaide River where we managed to see several large male crocs, and then continued to see the termite mounds and several stunning waterholes/ falls in Litchfield NP. Really great day with lots of fantastic information imparted. Lunch and snacks were included. Take your bathers as there's swimming opportunities. Thanks Damo for a fantastic day!

Firstly, a big shout out to Dylan, our tour guide, for providing us all with such a great day and working hard to ensure we all enjoyed the experiences whilst keeping safe - particularly important during the crocodile cruise! He was fun, extremely informative and polite, and a really good representative of the company. The crocodile cruise was truly memorable and we got lucky and had a couple of amazing encounters. It was a real privilege to see these extraordinary creatures at such close quarters and to full appreciate just how awesome they are - and terrifying! To look eye to eye with a croc from less than a metre away is something I will never forget. The visits to Buley Rockhole and Florence Falls were a very welcome opportunity to cool down in the waters. We also visited Wangi Falls which was closed for swimming but provided a chance to get changed out of swimmers and to pick up an ice cream at the very pleasant cafe on site. The lunch provided (DIY wraps with plenty of choice of fillings) was excellent. On offer throughout the trip were a good selection of snacks and there was plenty of cold water available which we all made good use of (and which Dylan actively encouraged at regular intervals). Also, FYI, there are plenty of opportunities at the various stops along the way to take 'comfort breaks'. In summary, whilst a long day - we covered 420 kms - this is a really excellent and great value for money tour which I can highly recommend.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but felt this tour was absolutely exceptional. Our tour guide Dylan did an amazing job both educating and entertaining us, and this has been the highlight of our time in Darwin.

GREAT experience - note: it's a FULL HOT DAY, but Damo (our guide) gave us a lot of information, kept us entertained and always reminded to carry our water. It was a jam-packed itinerary but we managed to fit in the waterfalls and croc jumping all in, and make it back in time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Unsafe water conditions so no swimming. Rather stay safe than wet. Tour guide Rick is the right blend of knowledgeable and cheeky. Waterfalls were spectacular as I visited during Monsoon wet. Stop thinking about it. Do it.

Everything was on time, started out with our crocodile cruise on the Adelaide River. Not too many around but we had plenty of photo opportunities and were fairly close, banging into the hull a couple of times. Break in the journey followed with comfort break + opportunity to buy food/drinks. Offered snacks during our journey to Litchfield before arriving at our 1st 'falls' around 12-00. While the majority dipped/bathed, Dylan (our guide) was preparing lunch. Dicing, grating, slicing plenty of fresh vegetables & cheese to go on wraps which we put together with our choice of ham/chicken or beef. Plenty of condiments for an excellent tasty lunch. We visited 2 more 'falls' with time to relax and dip in the waters. Two comfort breaks & snacks on our return journey. An excellent day out that I would thoroughly recommend. www.litchfieldescapes.com
