Mariela was PHENOMENAL! She enthusiastically invited us in to learn about Little Havana—the people, food and culture while simultaneously being aware of the heat and need for water and a bit of AC. Her personality radiates warmth and happiness which was very appreciated!! She is extremely knowledgeable and we loved her humor and personal stories! Highly recommend her and this tour!!! You will not be disappointed! Thanks again Mariela!!

This food tour through Calle Ocho was absolutely incredible! From the moment we met our Cuban tour guide, Mariela, the energy and passion were contagious. She didn’t just show us around—she brought the neighborhood to life with stories about Cuban culture, history, and her own experiences growing up in Cuba Every stop on the tour was a hit. We tried perfectly brewed shared cafe, melt-in-your-mouth empanadas, sweets, and of course, the best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had. Each bite told a story, and Mariela made sure we understood the meaning behind the flavors. What really made the tour special was how personal it felt. We visited local, family-owned spots that you’d never find on your own, and the warmth and hospitality were unmatched. It felt like being welcomed into someone’s home, not just a food tour. If you’re visiting Miami and want a real, soulful taste of Little Havana—this is the tour to book. Come hungry, bring your curiosity, and prepare to fall in love with Cuban culture. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!
