The Little Toot offers closer dolphin sightings because the boat is lower to the waters edge. We provide a narrated sightseeing tour of Clearwater Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico.

What To Expect
Join us for a narrated dolphin tour of Clearwater Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico aboard the Little Toot, a beautiful tug boat. We offer amazing dolphin sightings as the wild dolphins love to jump and play in our wake. We offer seats in the shade or sun, whichever you prefer and are always free to get up and walk around the boat. Please arrive 45 minutes prior to departure for parking, ticketing and boarding(parking fills up very fast on beach and traffic can be heavy. Sorry, but we cannot hold the boat for you if you are late). **Boarding begins 10 minutes before departure**

5.00We had a great trip out at the beginning of May. We saw a lone dolphin who played in our wake and later on saw a pod with a brand new baby. I liked that the boat recognised they didn’t want to be bothered and stayed a good distance back from them. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable

5.00This is our 5th tour between the Little Toot 1 and 2. Preference is the Little Toot 1 but 2 is great also. First and foremost is Dolphin are wild animals and do what they want when they want .Do they love jumping the wake absolutely and it is amazing the heights they can reach. Bonus is when the teenagers join in. The Captains and crew are very knowledgeable about dolphin and do their best to locate where they are The day we went was a beautiful day and we arrived early to get the seats at the back. Well no jumping dolphin activity that day BUT what we did see was the nursery with many adult dolphin guarding two 2 week old baby dolphin. Dolphin must surface to breathe and we did see that so it truly was an up close encounter. Yes, some folks were disappointed but this was an experience we will not forget. Captain did try to entice some adults away to jump the wake but their priority was to guard those two babies. Will be back in 2027. Now word of caution there is construction at the Marina where they are adding on new piers and some parking spots are now occupied by equipment so parking is limited. Our tour was 11 AM and it was suggested to arrive 45 minutes in advance. We arrived an hour in advance and there were a few slots left. Across the street is the Clearwater Beach and a parking lot but on a nice day arrive early to get a spot

1.00The host was not kind to us, she shouted to my 3 year old. Yes, she stood at a place where she was not supposed to by the voice of host was so loud that all the ship looked towards us, also, the ship was crowded

5.00My daughter and I had the best time with Litte toot! We did the 11am tour and saw a family of dolphins with baby dolphins within the first 20 minutes of the tour. They rode the wake for quite a while and it was amazing to watch. We saw a couple of other larger dolphins in the gulf too. Overall it was very low key, not overly touristy or cheesy, and was a beautiful morning on the water. They played great music too! The staff do a great job and are very knowledgeable about the dolphins. We felt very safe on the boat. If I come back to Clearwater I'd definitely do this tour again.
